"I specifically checked the check-in time, but they incorrectly told me it was 10 PM. Also, they tried to charge me for a disposable shower kit (though they did cancel it). The lack of attention to detail for guests made my stay uncomfortable. However, I did like that the shower, toilet, and sink were all separate. And the room was nice and spacious!"

The house is easy to find thanks to the neon sign, it is peaceful and located 15 min away by walking from the shopping and restaurants area. It's an old traditional house very well maintained with a beautiful Korean garden in the midst of a scooter repair shop neighborhood, which makes it quiet at night. The rooms have AC and have beautiful wooden panels. The bedding is comfortable with a double futon. The pillows are a bit too hard though on the neck. The bathroom is clean. They provide shampoo and soap amenities. Coffee and tea you can help yourself with in the shared kitchen. The owners work quite hard to make it welcoming and were helpful in providing touristic information about the city. We had a wonderful stay and recommend it to any families looking for a soothing and peaceful stay in a traditional yet modern setting.

The location of the hotel is convenient with eateries and shopping near by. The room is decent for an over night stay. The beds come with mattress warmer. The hotel also serves simple local breakfast for guests.

I cannot fault this hostel. Easy check in, the owner speaks good English and is very helpful, the hostel itself is very well thought out with everything you might need (there's even a makeup room in the third floor with lots of mirrors and hair straighteners as well as hair dryers) the spaces are all very clean, great amenities and public spaces, and it is in an ideal location. Walking distance from the train station and near many interesting tourist spots. I would highly recommend going to a tourist information point and getting a map that has the Stamp walking tour (not available in the hostel even though they have many city maps and travel information easily accessible) collecting the stamps is very fun on its own but if you follow the tour you'll get to find a lot of hidden gems along the way that are all very near and around the Hostel, all of this for free and it only takes a couple of hours.

GGuest UserI gave 1 extra star because the man at the desk kept my bag safe when it needed to be. So he did the job well. Otherwise, zero stars will be given for the service of the old lady at the desk. She was unfriendly and insulting!!! First, she doesn't speak English, so she should use a translator to communicate with the customers. Instead, she started talking in an unfriendly way in Korean when she knew I couldn’t speak Korean.
Second, because I don't understand and she doesn't understand me, I have to ask my Korean friend to talk with her. She is still not friendly. And not try to understand for me, because I don't know what my friend and her were talking about. So she showed me that she got annoyed with my misunderstanding of her.
Third, and the most horrible of all. She was very rude the next day. I came to her desk, because I needed something. I have just shown my face and wanna say hi, with a friendly look at her. But she started to behave rudely right away before I could say hi. By saying something loudly in Korea and weirdly using both hands and looking angry. So I felt very uninvited to ask something. So I go away from her. Back to my room. I found my stuff (toothbrush and other things of mine) that I forgot in the other room. That I forgot to take with me, on the floor!!!!!! The worst there is a desk for face washing next to the door. So she could put it in there. It's so onhygien with my toothbrush without a cover put on the floor. I have never gotten that horrible service before. Even when I go the a very cheap hostel!
I was in a good mood to discover this city. And these are bad memories I got from her. She has just ruined my good mood for the holiday there. My friends suggested that I go to this Motel. Now my friends know how stupid this service I got from this lady. They won't come anymore in the future!
If the old lady doesn’t like foreigners then she shouldn't work there. So it won’t ruin someone's holiday. I hope the manager of their company does something with the service that the lady gave to the customer. I don’t complain usually. But this is unacceptable! I am planning to go regularly to Daegu because my friend lives there. This motel is in a perfect location for me. But now I would rather go to a hotel that is far away than this Motel. So you have just lost 1 regular customer because of this stupid service. I am still angry if I think about this service with my toothbrush on the floor.

I stayed at the Brown Dot Hotel while planning a trip near the amusement park. They didn't have the luxury of providing a room a little early for check-in. However, the room was clean, and the disposable items and simple breakfast were nice. I would like to use it again next time.

Perhaps because it's newly renovated, it's neat and clean overall. I was hesitant because there were no reviews, but it turned out they'd recently opened and had a new name. The room was surprisingly spacious, and I liked the Seragem room, so I booked it. It was comfortable and the bed was warm. I tend to get cold easily, so I had a great rest. The owner was friendly, and the parking lot was nice. I'm going to a concert in Daegu next week, so I'll definitely book again. There are also restaurants nearby, so you can walk there and eat.

I came here with friends, and the location was perfect, close to Dongseong-ro and Dongdaegu Station. The outside of the facility was clean, and the room was very clean. I highly recommend this place!
