Take a stroll on the Hammond trail to the Mad River Bluffs just 5 minutes away. Both of the units of the duplex function as vacation rentals, and both have separate driveways, garages, and fenced yards for maximum privacy.All of the rooms, except one, have fully-loaded TV's with most every streaming service you could ask for, comfortable bedding and linens. The primary suite consists of a king-size bed, and the two other bedrooms have both a full and queen-size bed to fit all of the guests in your party, as well as spacious closets to store your belongings during your stay. The bathroom is just off of the hallway that leads to the bedroom areas, and a half bath is located just off of the kitchen. A washer and dryer is located in the garage for guest use.Guest accessYou will have access to the entire unit, including the garage and designated yard.Other things to noteThough this is a duplex, we have never had an issue with noise or any complaints regarding privacy at either listing. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to cook and entertain during your stay.Set on a nearly 30 acre parcel, boasting many wetland features such as a duck-filled pond, a meandering creek, and private access to the beach on the mouth of the Mad River overlooking the Pacific ocean, this property is perfect for those who want to experience a unique and private getaway. Guests are expected to stay within the property lines, which will be discussed in the guidebook upon booking. We expect guests to be responsible considering all of the water features around, especially those with young children. Located just minutes from highway on ramps and the local airport, the protected location of the cabin provides tranquility and peace from the outside world. The cottage does include wifi, DirectTV cable, forced air heating, and all of the essentials needed for the ultimate escape here on the Redwood Coast.Guest accessGuests will have access to the cabin and the land that surrounds the cabin. The property is private, and the guests and those in their party will have access to the grounds surrounding the pond, beach access to the Mad River bank, and access to the picnic table and bluffs overlooking the pacific ocean. Guests will also have access to the locked garage where some supplies and the bbq will be stored during your stay.Other things to noteDue to the rural area surrounding the house, we were not able to get high speed internet, but we do have good wifi, with a download speed of 27 Mbps. We ask that you limit excessive use of streaming and other types of scenarios that may drain our 350 gb a month plan. We also do not guarantee free firewood during your stay.
