4-Star Hotels in Bruges

Obviously, the owner of the property, Jason, has put a lot of thoughts into furnishing it and has taken great pride and care in its upkeeping. The property is located on the quieter side of the old town but is anyway just about a 5 minute walk to Markt. The room is well appointed, spacious and clean. The breakfast prepared personally by Jason is sumptuous and tasty. A fantastic stay!

The hotel is centrally located and the rooms are spacious and airy. In this respect, the stay was quite comfortable. The breakfast was also quite good. However, when evaluated in terms of price-performance ratio, it's debatable whether it's really worth the price difference compared to other hotels. Regarding the staff, we had a mixed experience. Some of the reception staff were very polite and helpful, but some were unnecessarily rude. The bartenders, in particular, left a negative impression. The fact that the same person was in charge of both reception and the bar in the evenings also somewhat lowered the quality of service. Although we were told we could use the garden, it was unpleasant that they made a fuss when we wanted to sit there in the evening. Also, the fact that the same ashtray remained on the table in the garden for 3 days without being emptied created a poor image in terms of cleanliness. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the overall cleanliness either.

Good location near the train station, but still within beautiful confines of the historic centre. Easy to get everywhere (Bruges is not that big). Had the suite, which had a freestanding bath. Note: limited toilet privacy due to glass doors between bathroom and bedroom. Did not try breakfast, no perceivable value @ 30 EUR per person. Plenty of brunch places in town.

Very comfortable hotel just north of the Markt and so slightly outside the main tourist area. That made a huge difference to the feel of the area. Not quite so frantic. On a lively square and next to a canal. Perfect. Hotel room was very comfortable and breakfast excellent. Would very much recommend.

Hotel Portinari in Bruges is a gem! The modern design is both stylish and inviting, creating a lovely atmosphere. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, making it a perfect retreat. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the city’s main attractions. The friendly staff added to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Bruges!

Friendly staff, lovely hotel, buffet breakfast was good value and convenient. Location was spot on and the family room was cosy, clean and had loads of space. Nuts from mini bar were cheaper than in the supermarket which we couldn’t believe. Only downside was the shower head wouldn’t stay in the holder so we had to hold it to shower which was a shame. Overall we would return if we came back to Bruges.

Hotel is neat the train station. However, the Escalator to the platform of the hotel is not working . We need to find a elevator from the car park to enter the hotel. There's carrefour express and bus station to the city center right next to the train station. Really thankful for the early checkin cuz we arrived a bit earlier. The reception is polite and helpful. The room is clean and neat. Spacious for 3 ppl. However, they charge me extra money €100sth after I check out. Trip.com staff is also helpful for asking the hotel for refund. Otherwise, the experience there was satisfying.

這個是一個獨立的樓層，包括兩個房間和一個大廳，一個乾濕分離的廁所，只是需要先到主酒店那裏拿鎖匙和入大樓的密碼入住，不知道也是比較麻煩。所以一定要提早入住，但是地點很好，就在廣場，非常方便。打錯的也很清潔。

The hotel with the largest room I've ever stayed in Europe, it's awesome! And I was given a room on the first floor, where I could drink coffee outside, which was very comfortable. The hotel is also well soundproofed, and it's especially quiet at night.

The location is excellent and it is very convenient to go to various attractions. If you drive yourself, it is a bit difficult to get in and out of the hotel. The car is clearly parked next door, but it took half an hour to get to the hotel entrance (one-way street + road closure)
