4-Star Hotels in Jiujiang

I was very satisfied with my stay at Lotus Terrace Garden Resort! The hotel has a great location, with a quiet surrounding environment, and I could see beautiful scenery right from my window. The bed was comfortable, and all the facilities were easy to use. Both the front desk and service staff were patient in answering questions and responded promptly to any requests. The breakfast also tasted good. Overall, it offers great value for money, and is suitable whether you're traveling with family or just looking to relax. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Lushan!

This hotel is pretty good. They offer shuttle services to and from the cable car station and the mountain-top station. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and tidy. The location is also excellent, right next to the Lushan Love Cinema, and very close to both the scenic bus transfer center and the Meilu Villa. Being in Guling Town, it's convenient for dining and sightseeing, yet it avoids the noise of the central street, making it a quiet retreat. Overall, the standards are met. The only minor drawback is that the room is a bit small, likely due to the building's layout, but it didn't affect our stay. It offers great value for money.

This was a bit further from 牯岭街 but no regrets staying here! It’s quieter and also quite near to the shuttle bus station (something 旧址station)! My boyfriend fell sick in the trip, and the receptionist was so kind to help us find the nearest hospital / help us collect our food / gave us thermometer etc They were really sweet and gave us some souvenirs too, and upgraded our room. The room was very clean, but be sure to close the windows properly as we had two beetle looking flies that flew in (but it’s a mountain area so I’m sure all hotels will have the same problem if you don’t close it!!) The receptionist also shared lots of tips with us, like which are the fun spots etc, and she patiently explained to us how it works. Food in the hotel was really great and surprisingly affordable. We had the stir fried pork and I really liked it. Overall a good experience. And the bath tub was to die for

A five-star rating is definitely deserved. The price increase during the May Day holiday was expected and reasonable. The breakfast, for a hotel in a scenic area, was quite generous; even those used to resort hotels will find enough to eat here. After all, I've looked around, and there aren't many places on the mountain that offer a better breakfast. There are a couple of things I hope can be improved: firstly, the family rooms should come with three sets of toiletries, not just two, requiring guests to ask for the third; secondly, some early-rising guests were excessively noisy in the hallway, even blowing whistles. I think the hotel didn't do enough to remind them about noise levels. I know the mountain area is humid, so carpeting isn't very practical, and poor soundproofing in the corridors seems to be a common issue for all hotels here. But at least a 'quiet please' sign could be helpful, couldn't it? The service attitude was generally excellent, with one exception: an older lady in the lobby who never smiled, whether answering questions or showing the way. Most of these issues are minor or due to objective limitations, and even if I stayed at another hotel on Mount Lu, it would be hard to find one that does much better. Hence, the five-star rating is well-earned. I'm too lazy to review both rooms separately, so I'm just copy-pasting this for the second one.

This hotel is on the uphill, inside the Lushan attraction. If you come to Lushan/Jiujiang by train, you need to go to their Sightseeing bus centre, and take their sightseeing bus to go up to another bus centre, and just give a call to the hotel, they would pick you up by a comfortable car. We had an unpleasant encounter with the didi driver driving us to the uphill, the driver was rude, even said to me “I got no time, just buy the ticket faster” (you need to purchase a ticket for the didi car and for yourself to drive up, an hour drive btw). So glad that the hotel staffs were all so nice and understanding. They welcomed us warmly, even listened to me complaining about the driver’s behaviour and rude remarks. They presented us with a welcoming fruit platter too! The hotel is clean, and very bear to Ruqin Lake. For my room, we got to wear 2 sets of hanfu for free (just put a deposit first, they’ll return the depo after you return the clothes). The staffs helped us bring our luggages into the room, even offered extra towel and room slippers since we came in 3. You got to experience brewing chinese tea by yourself too, since they prepared chinese tea leaves and chinese tea pot set in the room. Since we arrived there around 3, and had to take shower and clean up first, so we would only be able to start exploring Lushan at 4. The hotel staffs at the reception were so kind to prepare us with a map and gave us recommendations on places we can go, in the best order, since they know we would be walking until late at night. The picture of the lake is Ruqin Lake, it’s just in front of the hotel. As for the next morning, we had to wake up early to get a morning train from jiujiang to jingdezhen, so I asked for the receptionist’s help to make a wake-up call, in which they actually called our room at 4am! Thank you so much. Overall, the stay here was amazing! We will find for JI Hotel the next time we travel to China.

The service was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted good, and they even provided a complimentary gift upon check-in. They also offered a shuttle service from the station. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Lushan.

We had a great stay here! All the personnel was nice and attentive, we were registered pretty easily. The hotel offers a pick up service , which is quite convenient. We had a room with a skylight and a balcony, which was the best. In the morning and in the evening you can sit at the balcony and enjoy a nice view. The room is clean and the towels are changed every day. They serve Chinese style breakfast from 7 to 9, see the picture attached. Since we don't know much about local transportation, they gave us a ride to the local transportation hub where we could hop on a sightseeing bus. Once you get back from your trip in the evening, you can have a nice stroll from a busy Guling street area, it's down the hill and it takes you about 15 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a real mountain view from their hotel room☺️

Hotel is at the outskirts but near famous Donglin Temple, walking distance about 5-8 minutes. Ideally, suitable for believers who spend more time in the temple. Big Buddha is at another spot quite a distance away but reachable by Didi. Hotel and rooms with balcony are elegantly decorated exclusively Zen tastes, settings. It is surrounded by trees, green hills and unpolluted fresh air. A pleasant feeling, feeling peaceful in the compound. There is a small stream opposite the hotel with soothing sound flowing down stream. Tasty morning and evening Chinese vegetarian are served, 58 Rmb for evening buffet. Opposite the main Donglin Temple, there are waiting taxis, restaurants, convenience shops. Not much night activities after 8 pm, perhaps night activities are in the city and railway stations. A good place to quiet the mind and distractions.

Facilities: First of all, the hotel rooms are very spacious, providing ample room to rest! Cleanliness: The bedding was very comfortable, and with the fresh mountain air, I slept soundly. Environment: The hotel lobby and courtyard are very comfortable; you can relax in the courtyard for half a day if you don't want to go out. There's also a pottery studio where kids can spend half a day, and take home their own creation – very enjoyable! Service: The hotel staff are very welcoming. They contacted me in advance after booking to ask about my arrival time and whether I needed a shuttle service. They also provided many travel suggestions. About a 5-minute walk from the hotel's back hill is their own organic tea plantation, with scenery comparable to a scenic area and definitely worth seeing. The tea served in the room was also organic tea grown on their back hill, and it tasted quite good! My family said they'd like to stay longer next summer.

The environment is beautiful, the rooms are very spacious and clean, the facilities are complete, there is also a fitness area, the hot spring water is very clear, the service is thoughtful and meticulous, and you can see the view of Lushan Mountain. It is definitely worth coming!
