Guest UserService was great as usual by the receptionist and really appreciate the warmth and smile from Stefanny. The swimming pool is a heated one so I could swim in it even though it was a cold day. Loved the welcome drinks and the amenities (coffee machine, body lotion, body shower, hand soap, shampoo, thick and soft tissue paper). The beds and pillows are comfortable, there’s a usb charger at the table. It’s a really convenient place near Kennedy park. Note that no cotton pad or cotton buds, toothbrush, shower cap were provided but I am ok with that. Security was really nice too, was waiting for Uber at night by the street and he would walk out to wait with me just to be safe.

Everything! The location was right next to the cliffs and you can easily take a quick walk to the mall nearby and see the glorious sunsets. The breakfast at Intercontinental was also quite easily accessible and the spread was very delicious, albeit with a bit less variety than expected.
The staff were also very friendly in the reception and the breakfast area and they also went beyond their means to try and help us with a damaged luggage we wanted to fix (from somewhere nearby).
The room was very spacious and beautifully designed for ease of use and comfort. This was actually the first of so many hotels I've stayed in, to have a quiet room! The door opening and closing sounds from the outside actually felt dampened inside and we had a great sleep all 4 nights on the comfortably king sized bed.
Also used the high-quality, well-maintained gym, which had a stairmaster and the abductor machine! Will definitely choose this hotel another time.

Karen Elizabeth BiowThis hotel is flawless. It has a beautiful warm heated swimming pool the rooms are beautiful with the breakfast is perfection. This hotel could use a concierge but it is a very upscale hotel and if you're paying less than $150 a night then you have got a steal for a room. The architectural features and the technology of the hotel was outstanding. You couldn't stay at a more Chic lovely Hotel. Make sure you get breakfast included because it is delicious treat filled with nutritious and exotic foods. Thought was put into every element of the building and in the concept of this hotel.

The hotel environment feels safe, and the Chinese dishes for lunch and dinner were quite good, though breakfast was a bit underwhelming. The bedding was comfortable and very clean.

We have been pampered by Aloft hotel!!! Carlos from the front desk made sure that we will have a great time celebrating our anniversary in Peru! We were offered a corner room with great views and a special treat as well! The lobby is in level L. Breakfast was healthy and superb with lots of great options! The room was huge! Plus points to the shower which gives spa vibes, great choice of tiles and shower head! Will definitely recommend to family and friends! Thank you, Carlos, for making us feel special!

SHIJIAIs a hotel renovated from a private house
Roland Chateau Group
Close to the Barranco area (there is the Bridge of Sighs and some museums to visit, it is a more distinctive area, you can also walk along the beach, the sunset is beautiful)
Including breakfast and afternoon tea
The whole hotel is like an art gallery with many collections
The only thing that is not so good is that the room feels a bit musty (personal feeling)
Overall it is very distinctive!

Since I'm asked to review, I'll give an honest one.
I genuinely don't understand how this hotel got such a high rating. Aside from the excellent location (next to Wong supermarket), I can't see what else warrants it.
On the first day, I arrived around 10 am and asked the front desk if I could check in if a room was ready. The front desk staff explicitly said it would be an hour, then half an hour, and in the end, I only managed to check in after three or four hours.
When I booked, I specifically requested a quiet room. Can you believe they assigned me the only room located between the elevator and the emergency exit staircase?
Once in the room, the noise from the air conditioning unit was unbearable. Maintenance came up and said it would make noise for ten minutes every time it was turned off, or I'd have to keep it on constantly. Later, even when it was off, it would make noise intermittently. I couldn't stand it anymore and requested a room change. This went on until 8 or 9 pm (the platform's concierge was very dedicated and kept assisting with communication with the hotel). After changing rooms, I thought I'd finally get a good night's sleep, but the soundproofing in this new room was even worse. I could hear the shower from the upstairs room right above my head – there was no escaping it.
Then, on one of the subsequent days, I left in the morning and returned in the afternoon to find my room hadn't been cleaned. I had to call the front desk multiple times just to get some water bottles delivered, even if they wouldn't clean the room. Throughout all these issues, the platform kept communicating and trying to resolve things with the hotel, but the hotel seemed to refuse to acknowledge any wrongdoing.
I hope everyone takes this into consideration. Besides the great location, you really don't need to consider staying here for the guest experience.

Filipp ViNice clean place with good location. Lots of cafe, restaurants and shops around. Close to several archeological sites. Comfortable bed and pillows. Pretty good breakfast. Friendly staff. But they forgot to prepare a lunch box for my early checkout.

This is my second time staying at this hotel in Lima. I value the good location of the hotel and the slightly safer area. But I probably won't stay at this hotel next time. The smell in the room is too strong. If you are on a low floor, there is a building opposite, so I don't dare to open the curtains, it's quite uncomfortable 😣
