"Big, outdated resort. The pool area and the beach is ok but my room was quite beaten. The staff, not perhaps lack of willingness but simply due to high number of guests, are no more capable of showing genuine Vietnamese hospitality. If you want an authentic experience, it is definitely the wrong place. The place is 10 min drive out of the old quarter. No big deal. Breakfast is good with lots of options."

"The Four Seasons in Hoi An is the most anticipated hotel on this trip. When you leave the airport, there will be hotel staff holding a sign to pick you up. A special car will be sent to the hotel, and there is Wi-Fi on the car. After check-in, the housekeeper will introduce the hotel facilities and activities in detail, including recommendations for restaurants in Hoi An Ancient Town, and will try his best to meet any reasonable requests. The room is cleaned almost every time after going out. The swimming pool is very big and you can really swim in it. It is also very photogenic. The spa technique is very comfortable, and you can enjoy the feeling of riding a bicycle and walking under the coconut trees. The only regret is that the dinner service at La Sen was a little slow, but it tasted good. "We booked a 3-night ocean view family twin room for a family of 4, and checked in at around 6:30 on the first day. We were assigned to the 2nd floor, but the view was completely blocked by the structure. We went down to the lobby to request a room change, but they said there were no rooms available because they were late. We booked an ocean view, but the view was blocked by the structure, so we couldn't see anything. We asked to be moved to a higher floor, wondering if we had to stay like this for the entire 3 nights. They said that it was on the 5th floor, but the view was worse, and showed us a room where we could only see the walls... When we asked to change it tomorrow, they said there were no rooms available, and they didn't seem sorry. After that, I got angry and complained a little more, and they said they would let us know after talking to the manager. Then they said that there was a double room (a room with one bed, not a family room) tomorrow, so we could change to that room at 5 PM, and they would put in an extra bed. We can check in at 3 PM for general check-in, but we're changing to a double room at 5 PM..? I protested, asking if it was reasonable, and they said they would do it at 1 o'clock. Then I asked how they would compensate me for staying tonight, and they discussed it again.. They said they would give me a coupon for 320,000 won...mango bingsuㅋㅋㅋㅋ I was angry, but Korean communication was not smooth, and the staff's attitude was like everyone was getting the same amount of money and no one complained..The 5th floor room only had a wall, so they gave me the 2nd floor.. I felt frustrated, wondering why they were complainingㅎㅎ I felt like they had a poor understanding of the ocean view. I opened my eyes in the morning and the view outside the window was...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The next day, around 4 PM, they told me to come down after packing my bags and come down, saying they would give me a new room key (I thought they would just tell me to come get the key or give it to me...). The family all went down and then went back up. The extra bed was not softer, and it was too short for my tall husband, so I had to sleep uncomfortably with my feet out. I chose Shilla because there is no hot spring in Da Nang.. I really won't go there again.. Before the change I'll upload a comparison photo later"

"The hotel is not located at the ending of Danang city. It is located near Hoi An. As someone who has stayed in five-star hotels and luxury villas across various countries, I was quite surprised to be charged for a laundry bag during my stay. This is the first time I have encountered such a charge, especially at a property positioned in the premium segment. While I appreciate the amenities provided, I found the location to be somewhat inconvenient, and in my opinion, the overall pricing did not align with the value offered. Adding a charge for something as minor as a laundry bag felt unexpected and disappointing, particularly given the cost of the stay. I hope you take this feedback constructively. I believe that reconsidering such policies could enhance the overall guest experience and better reflect the standards typically associated with luxury accommodations."

"There were parasols and beach chairs set up among the palm trees, so I was able to relax on the beach while feeling the pleasant breeze without worrying too much about sunburn. Also, the staff always stopped what they were doing to greet me, so I felt that I was treated very well as a guest (even when I forgot something and passed by several times, they always greeted me, so I felt sorry). I was informed of a change in my flight schedule during my stay, which made me panic, but thanks to the manager's advice, I was able to calmly deal with the situation (I ended up negotiating directly with the airline at the airport and was able to return home safely on a different flight via Hanoi. Thank you very much). I also enjoyed renting ao dai and doing beach yoga, and the large public bath meant that I didn't have to wait long for a shower. I was also grateful that they carried my suitcase on the shuttle bus and left it at the Grandvrio City Danang Hotel on my last day. Thank you very much for all your help. I would like to stay with a plan that includes a spa next time."

"Villa has a beautiful environment and is far away from the hustle and bustle; the overall facilities of the hotel are new and clean. The breakfast is very diversified and tastes good, especially the Pho soup base. Only it is far from the city center, so you have to take a taxi whether from Da Nang or Hoi An city center. But that's what makes the hotel such a beautiful setting. What needs to be improved is the service attitude of the staff. On the first night, there was no power in the room, and I called the front desk three times to successfully arrange for staff to come to the room for repairs. On the morning of the day we left the hotel, we asked for a late check-out, and the front desk said they would get back to us as soon as possible to see if we could delay the check-out; however, they did not get a reply until we left the hotel room. Moreover, before we checked out, we called the front desk and asked the shuttle bus to wait in front of the Villa and take us to the front desk. When we saw the bus from the second floor of the Villa, we went downstairs immediately, but when we got underground, the shuttle bus had already left. In the end, we had to push our luggage to the front desk..."

"I booked a night at this resort for our final evening in Hoi An, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The property is expansive, offering all the facilities and amenities one would expect from a 5-star resort. While the location is a bit removed from the center of town, it’s still accessible—using Grab, it typically took us around 20 minutes each way. Our children absolutely loved their time here; they swam in every pool and enjoyed all the playgrounds. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to try out the private beach as it was simply too hot during our visit. The breakfast and dinner buffet were, in my opinion, average and featured much of the same selection as the in-room dining menu. One small issue: there were quite a few tiny black insects on our balcony. They didn’t get inside our room, so it wasn’t a major concern for us, but I mention it as it may be important to some guests. A notable observation was regarding the service. While the staff were polite and professional, I didn’t feel the warmth or proactive customer service I’ve experienced at other 5-star hotels and resorts. Typically, staff greet guests warmly and make helpful inquiries about their stay, but here, their approach seemed more reserved and task-focused. Despite these minor points, we were thoroughly satisfied with our stay and look forward to returning in the future."
