Absolutely wonderful - lovely rooms with balconies and a view across the bay to the main town of Naxos, very good food, very friendly and helpful staff. It's a bit of a taxi ride or drive into the town, but for peace and relaxation this is one of the most satisfying places I have stayed in many years of travel - and high on my list of places I look forward to returning to.

A truly wonderful place, The Magic Village feels more like staying with friends than staying in a hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff, quiet, amazing view, good to very good food... All of which makes me a bit hesitant to add quibbles, but with the many rather steep ramps and stairs, more railings would be a help for guests with mobility issues. The hotel is situated on a hill across the bay from Chora, the port of Naxos, and at all times the view is magnificent. A taxi to Chora runs between €15 and €20. Chora is packed, hot, full of tacky souvenirs shops and sometimes smelly - good to visit once for the museums and the Portara, but nothing on the beauties of the inner island. To see Naxos island, which is stunning, visit Tours by Locals; my guide was Alex, and he was superb. But to return to the Magic Village, it is a place I would very happily return to at any time!

Very welcoming staff! They welcomes us with a drink and helped with our luggage. They ensured our room was available already in the morning despite check in at 3pm. Fantastic pool and amazing breakfast with many healthy options! Many thanks!

There are so many good things to say about this hotel. The locations was nice, situated a bit outside of town for a quiet, peaceful atmosphere, with absolutely stunning views. Excellent food and drink options. Walking distance from a semi private beach. Very clean and well cared for. But the highlight of this hotel was the people. The staff here were the kindest people we met on our trip to Greece. We lost our luggage on our way to Naxos and the staff here did everything they could to help us. They lent us phone chargers, ordered us taxis, and even offered to call the airline on our behalf. It was an incredible experience and luxury service for a very reasonable price. We loved our stay and will definitely come back to this hotel the next time we are in Naxos.

I went there for 13 nights with 2 kids. Nice, quiet complex, top clean. Close to 1 beach, like 5 minutes, where is mostly windy weather. To Agios Prokopios beach it takes aprox. 25minutes, to all the restaurants, shops. Bus stop closesest is 15-20minutes. Waiters and people around are super friendly, professional. Wifi in a room was bad for all 3 people, so I went to the main reception (I needed work in the mornings). Food fine, drinks ok, ice creams. Breakfast ok, but nothing special (in other countries which are by the sea we usually had for example salmon etc,). The only thing I was not happy about, that they want me to pay by cash (first they tried me to pay for accomodation then for restaurant, so I felt not comfortable. Did not have cash cash cash..I think I paid quite expensive room rate, went to restaurant for every dinner, so they could accept cards. But they only tried me as I was not with my husband, other people paid by card what I saw.

Top breakfast and amazing pool .The coffee in the breakfast is the best i have tried in all breakfast lounges even in better star hotels!Lovely stuff and amazing reception effort to come up with a solution and assistance in every need we had!Restaurant a little expensive but quality is very good and the portions are very big!

We are a couple from greece!I can say for sure that this is the best stay in naxos and maybe even in whole cyclades for us so far !The rooms were super clean as they should be and the staff was incredible supportive and always there !

Not much to say other than you should avoid this place until serious changes are made. As a young and easy going couple (30F/32M), we can make most things work. Naxos was our longest section of a two week Greece tour. We hoped to stay 4 nights at this place, but instead we stayed less than 30 minutes. The general grounds were not the problem, and the staff was generally nice, but crass and careless. Our issue sat with our room. It was not as promised or as booked. Utter lack of cleanliness, half eaten bag of chips to keep our patio table steady, heavy sewage smell and unmade bed made the unit unlivable. The man who checked us into our “villa” joked about how the maid left some things and trash about while we looked at each other, stunned. We kept the luggage outside the room and promptly booked elsewhere within 30 minutes. A full refund was received from the hotel. Take heed, there are much, much better options elsewhere.

This place is really nice for spending a vacation in Naxos especially if you want to be away from the city centre and if you want to enjoy in the silence and rustling of the sea. A quick walk away (1-2minutes) you have a nice beach (Paralia Kleftonisia) and if the sea is wavy due to the wind the resort offers you a nice pool. All the employees are really friendly especially lady receptionist who is always smiling and ready to help you with any kind of needs. Also the breakfast is good with variety of choices-definitely everyone can find something for himself. If you want to go to the city centre you need a car or motor but you can reach city center in couple of minutes. Definitely we can just recommend the place for everyone to enjoy time in Naxos and being just a few minutes with a car away from the city noise.
