On the first day of check-in, the bedding smelled terrible, and there were many other inconveniences. I couldn't sleep, so even though I booked for 3 nights, I only stayed for 1 night and left. The hotel operator apologized and promised a refund for the remaining 2 nights, but she refused the refund."

"✅Liked · We booked a family room which had somehow happened to be only 5GBP costlier than the standard room, so why not. There was indoor swimming pool which had just the perfect temperature, so I loved it. The balcony at the front is shared with all other family rooms, so keep the curtains closed. The restaurant is great. The food at dinner, and for breakfast buffet was great as well. ❌Disliked · There is a pothole ridden road leading up to the hotel, no decent parking space and if you park in front of the hotel to unload your luggage entrance, you'll block off the whole road so have to quickly leave and park elsewhere. There is however a decent bit of space outside the hotel. Also, the hotel is at least 20 steps down and 50 steps away from the road you have to walk a tiny bit, but they have ramp to roll the luggage on. The family room skylight can't be blacked out. So, you are going to be woken up really early if the sun rises early. So, use eye mask to sleep. The family rooms were at -1 level, and there was no elevator, but they had a bell boy to help with the luggage. The swimming pool is small, but decent sized, so don't expect to be doing freestyle from end to end. It's more for the relaxing and looking out through the windows. There is also a sauna although the charge to use it is 70 lari for 1 hour for the whole sauna. Ridiculous."

"Excellent hotel in a wonderful location. Private parking. The receptionist was very kind and spoke English. Due to a small setback, she apologized and assigned us a suite with a view of the Khazbek. Watching the sunrise illuminate the snow-capped peak from the comfort of our bed was an extraordinary experience! Excellent breakfast, clean room, and a safe, kettle for coffee and tea, mini-fridge, etc."

"It was last minute desicion to stay at this hotel at it was totally worth it. We have very difficult journey from Vladikavkaz to Georgia, and came to Stepantsminda very late - at four am. But hotel owners came to greet us. They helped us, gave as wonderful room and in the morning made the tastiest breakfast. The hotel is stylish and comfortable. The furniture is new. The view is fantastic. But the best part is hotel owners. They will make your stay here warm and comfortable. The cooking is great and the relaxing atmosphere will soothe your soul. Totally recommend for those who are tired and want to relax and feel peace in mind."
