"Because it was listed as the only 5-star hotel in Kazbek on Ctrip, I booked it.
After checking in, it felt more like a self-built motel.
Environment: A single building with a small gravel path and an open area in front of the balcony, also covered in gravel and weeds. The hotel is new, and there's a noticeable renovation smell.
Cleanliness: Given its newness, it's quite good.
Facilities: The room and bathroom are both decent-sized, about 20 square meters overall, but the sink is cramped and won't fit a woman's makeup bag. The balcony is also narrow.
View: Seeing many reviews comparing it to Rooms, I think the view of Mount Kazbek is quite different; it's noticeably smaller, and there's a barrier in front.
Service: The owner was quite welcoming, but the breakfast was limited and simple, and the taste was average. I can only say that I had something non-salty at lunch."

"Many people recommended the cabin, so I booked it. However, I'd suggest choosing the 'Rooms' option instead, especially if your budget allows and you don't plan on cooking. We had breakfast at the 'Rooms' dining area, which cost over 100 Lari for two.
The view from the window was largely obstructed by the rooftops in front, which was quite disappointing.
There are several cabins in the vicinity; ours was a double cabin equipped with a fridge, an induction cooktop, and a washing machine. These amenities would be great for those who need them, but since we didn't, it felt like we'd made the wrong choice for us.
You'll need to add the host on WeChat prior to arrival, as they won't add you first and don't speak English. We relied heavily on WeChat's excellent translation function. Despite the language barrier, the host was very nice and helpful."

Екатерина 0503The view from the window was incredible; we watched the sunrise and Mount Kazbek peek out from the clouds. The window was floor-to-ceiling, so you could admire the view without getting out of bed.
All five stars for that 🫶
The room was clean with simple but pleasant renovations. The soundproofing was poor. The mattress was very hard.
The room was warm; apparently, they only turn the heating on when needed. Outside, the temperature ranged from 6 degrees at night to 18 degrees during the day. The bathroom was pleasant and the shower had good water pressure.
The breakfast was good, with all the basics. It's a shame the coffee was instant, but that's common in hotels in Georgia.

The location of the hotel is great! Open the curtains and you can see the Holy Trinity Church and the snow-capped mountains! The room is a little small, but clean and tidy, the service attitude is good, and it's a good experience.

Anonymous UserIf you don't rent a car yourself, it's better not to book it. It's far from the center, and it's a big uphill. It's very tiring to walk with luggage. It's not very convenient to take a taxi. If you want to book a car, it's best to book it one day in advance~
If you don't speak English, it's better not to book it. The cabin is unmanaged. When you walk in, there is no window in one room, and one wash basin is removed. I thought it was closed and abandoned~ I called to tell which room it was, and then I went in to get the key~
If you are worried about safety, it's better not to book it. It depends on luck whether the door lock is locked. We locked the door at night and found that it could be opened easily the next morning~
If you don't care about the above three points and don't have high requirements for accommodation conditions, the cabin is mainly cheap, with hot water and heating, right at the foot of the snow mountain, and the environment is still great~ Of course, the wooden cabins here are all very good. It is recommended to choose one close to the center~ Convenient transportation, food and drink~
