Karma Lake of Menteith Hotel

As a Fractional owner of Karma, we were invited to a curated event at Karma lake of Mentieth. My wife Kiran and I were treated to an incredible experience by the staff of the resort, we were met by Josh the Manager, who was superb throughout our 3 nights stay. We joined up with Gary and Adrian of Karma for 2 rounds of golf at the most beautiful courses i have played. The food was exceptional , prepared by the resident chef Joe, who was so attentive and clearly takes immense pride in his work. We tried a variety of single malt whiskies that are available at Karma, the wines and copious amounts of food. We were thoroughly spoilt by all the team, the bar staff were lovely as were all the restaurant and Hotel staff. Close to St Andrews , Gleneagles and so many Whisky distilleries, which we visited and enjoyed very much, thanks again to the Karma team. The Location of Karma is superb, right on the lake and its so beautiful, the rooms are well appointed and the facilities are numerous. There are too many high points to mention but i would not hesitate to go back and enjoy it all again. What a place, congratulations to Karma, this place will soon become another Jewel in your ever increasing crown if its not already. First time to Monteith but hopefully not the last. Far better than the advertised information. Lots to do in the surrounds. However a car is ideal to get around as the local buses are limited and irregular. All the staff were exceptional, there was no request not well responded to. Food and beverage excellent. Would have no hesitation in recommending this Karma resort. Not to be compared to any other resort out on its own. A wonderful opportunity to see the Stirling shire and much more.

The hotel is set in a beautiful surroundings, on one side a lake and the other in between hills . Everyone made us feel welcome. It’s clean and well furnished. It’s was very cold -9’ on a couple of days, and foggy but that just made it more magical, The Icicles , well that just made it for me . Never seen such pretty formed icicles. The bed room was well furnished and equipped. The bed was just how we like it, not too firm but supportive, pillows lovely and fluffy. We had a dressing room and a bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubical . We felt very comfortable there, enjoyed our 2week stay. There’s a games room, darts, pool, cards, jenga which we had so much fun with , record player , a lovely hidden room . The staff are all professional and very welcoming, always smiling and have time to say hello . Meals were well presented, tasted delicious, restaurant looked out over the lake , stunning views. There was an open fire in the bar , fabulous. . Will definitely be back . There’s so much to explore in the area .

We chose Karma Lake of Menteith for our wedding venue - and we are very glad we did! Josh and all the staff were so kind and helpful to us and all of our guests and they bent over backwards to make our day perfect. The location on the lake is perfect and definitely sold the venue to us! Everything went exactly as we planned and the day went amazingly. The guests loved the wedding breakfast menu- the lamb was highly praised. The wines were very nice as well. Rooms were clean and the bridal suite (Lomond) is huge- facing the gorgeous lake. Breakfast was lovely also. Warm pastries were a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this venue for your special day!

Beautiful place to stay and the Celtic band in the bar gives a wonderful atmosphere Food is tasty and the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to meet your every need and want Bath is luxurious and spacious Little touches made our stay special the birthday card and bottle of wine was very well appreciated

I had high hopes. Nice hotel, gorgeous views. We went for lunch. There was an Indian menu, and we thought we would give it a go. Started off great. The starters were amazing, delicious. However...mains were two curries. £14 each. We paid additional for rice and nan. Planned to share .. the nan was tiny. About the size of a tea plate. Rice was also very small. Curries served in metal curry bowls. Half full. We left feeling hungry and paying a 12% service charge also. The servers were lovely. However we left feeling hungry and actually, ripped off. If you're charging 14 Quid for a curry, make it a decent portion please. For this reason I won't be back.
