"The biggest surprise of our trip to Pingshan was definitely this guesthouse – I have to give it a huge shout-out! It was newly renovated and opened in 2026, so all the facilities are brand new. Our room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. The location is superb, just a few minutes' drive to Pingshan Grand Canyon, so no need to rush in the morning. My family of four (two adults, two kids) overslept and missed breakfast. The landlady was incredibly warm-hearted and specially cooked a bowl of noodles for each of us. She even thoughtfully drove us directly to the scenic area entrance. It was sweltering hot in the mountains during mid-summer, and we were all drenched in sweat. The landlady then picked us up punctually from the entrance to take us back to the guesthouse. She was on call the entire time, always anticipating our needs and taking care of everything for her guests. The landlady was genuinely friendly and enthusiastic, treating us like family. This trip created so many warm memories because of this guesthouse. I highly recommend it to families traveling with children. Next time we visit Hefeng Pingshan, this will be our top choice! These are my honest feelings, though I did catch 38-degree Celsius weather, which was just too hot!!! I'd suggest coming when the weather is more favorable."

"Meeting a very enthusiastic Hunan fellow is really a magical homestay accommodation experience! The rooms are clean and tidy. There are designs in many places. The quality of accommodation is far beyond this price, and the yard at the door is very large, which is very suitable for activities and leisure. The food at the homestay is also very delicious. 😋 It is a very good Hunan cuisine taste, the price is affordable and the portion is very large, and the homestay is not very close to the scenic spot. "A big surprise even more than Pingshan Canyon (is this what can be said) The environment is particularly good, very comfortable small yard, a lot of beautiful meat, and two super cute cockroaches. The boss cooked the green pepper shredded pork noodles and it was delicious. My friend also bought pepper spouts. The room is very soundproof, electric toilet electric curtains, the only drawback is that there is a small chair, squatting on the ground in the room to eat instant noodles hahahahaha."
