Yufu Hotels with Swimming Pools

very happy to have booked this hotel. very well located hotel, walkable fr yufuin station. breakfast and dinner every day was very nice, some days better than others but excellent nonetheless. place is a little old but is well kept. room is also rather large and we had the mountain view which was amazing. hotel onsen water can be a little too hot, so sensitive ppl do be careful. will come again.

Our family had a memorable stay in the hotel . The staff were very helpful and friendly . We were so impressed by the food prepared with excellent presentation with a great variety of food , from sashimi to sukiyaki and tempura . The onsen in the room had a great view of the valley . They also had private onsen outside the room . The view was unforgettable when I used during the sunrise .

The house is new and super clean, with a beautifully designed interior. Everything is thoughtfully planned and made with quality materials. It’s perfect for relaxation, featuring an onsen, a well-equipped kitchen, and spacious areas. The large TV and comfortable bed add to the experience. It would be even better if the second-floor toilet had a sink. I absolutely loved my stay!

If you failed to make a reservation at the ryokan you wanted, this is a great place to stay for a reasonable price. Advantages: 1. Relatively cheaper price than ryokan. Except for a few cost-effective accommodations, prices like this are rare. 2. There is a restaurant in the same building. 3. Kinrin Lake is right in front of the building, so you can see the lake right from your room. Also, I think the biggest advantage is that you can see it without having to go outside on days when there is fog. disadvantage: 1. It’s far from the station. If you have heavy luggage, I recommend taking a taxi. 2. Ironically, Kinlin Lake is right in front. Saying that Kinrin Lake is right in front of you means that there are tourists right in front of you. Not only rooms, but also public baths and even open-air baths can be accessed from outside. Rooms have curtains and public baths have opaque windows, but the open-air baths are finished by a wall that is lower than the height, so if you use the open-air baths during the day or when the sun is up, you need to have the courage to make naked eye contact with tourists. Please note that the side with an open-air bath has a women's bath on the day of check-in and a men's bath on the day of check-out. 3. Amenities are far away. In fact, normally it wouldn't be that far, just 10 minutes away, but the tourist attraction + countryside played a part. It was very dark with only sparse street lights, so using the flashlight function on your phone was essential. Although I wrote about the shortcomings at length, I am overall satisfied with the accommodation!

The counter staff was very friendly and carefully confirmed the vegetarian portion with us. The check in process was ”smart check-in”, where guests receive the passcode to the room via email. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any email (not in junk/spam either), and was stuck outside the room, trying to call a call center that had already closed for the day. There was also no reply to the email I had sent via the Trip app. In the end, I had to ask the guest staying in another room for the phone number of the person directly in-charge of the facility, so that I could call them to get the password and check-in code. The facility exceeded my expectations, but the check-in process due to the missing email was too stressful and unpleasant. I may use the facility again, but I will book it through another app to prevent such problems again.

Private hotel, a little bit away from the station, the station is 700 yen by taxi. The host is a couple who communicate in English politely and enthusiastically, and the room they gave was not bad. In the courtyard on the first floor, there is a bathing pond shared by the whole house, and mountains in the distance can be seen in the courtyard. The room facilities are simple and there is no elevator on the second floor. The beds are quite comfortable and you need to bring your own toiletries. The hotel is very close to Lake Kinrin. If you walk around early in the morning, you can see the white smoke on the surface of the lake. Although the breakfast arranged back is simple bread, juice and custard, it is convenient and free. After eating, went to Yuzhiping, a very nice Japanese town.

5 of us staying at this bnb and only one pillow is provided per person. Could not get a good sleep after one day visiting in Yufuin as the pillow and tatami are too thin, not comfortable enough for adult. Will suggest to provide extra and different type of pillow to its travelers.

It was a 40 minute walk, so I wanted to go on a flat ground, but it was a car without a walking road. I experienced hell ... After arriving at the dormitory, I met the boss, and he was a grandfather with a year old. I opened the Japanese language app first and explained it. It's different from other hotels If you want to go to a nearby meal or a mart, you can ask the boss for a pick-up service, take you to the mart and wait until you see the market. In the morning, Yufuin Express Guitar was 9 o'clock, so I asked for breakfast and took me at the time I wanted. The hostel was spacious enough to stay for more than 2 people. And the long-awaited private hot spring. Very very satisfied! I enjoyed it twice once after arriving, once before drinking in the evening. If I had time in the morning, I would have had breakfast. I said hello to the boss and said he would come back to rest next time if I came to Yufuin ^^ Yufuin is recommended here if you want to fully heal in the hostel as much as you come to relax with hot springs or if you have a lot of body in the last schedule!
