Premier Inn Swindon Town Centre ★★★
"The room's Wi-Fi was very poor, and there was no proactive housekeeping or garbage disposal service regardless of how many nights you stayed."
Leonardo Hotel Swindon ★★★★
"Location is good, 5-1ins walk to the city centre and shopping mall. Room is clean and the air conditioning is good."
ibis budget Swindon Town Centre ★★
"nice hotel"
The Tawny Owl ★★★★
"ALCON, I was very happy with my stay, during check- in staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. The room was very clean and nice only small problem is that rooms are not set up for the powering up of cell-phones, Recommend the desk provide attachments so that tourist can keep there phones powered up. During my 12 days stayed at four other similiar locations, your facility was the only one without adapters for cell phone charge. Your food downstairs was great especially enjoyed the fish and chips. All in all a great stay I will DE finitely be returning very much enjoyed my stay with you,"
Travelodge Swindon ★★★
"The location is good and convenient. The room is clean and comfort."
Holiday Inn SWINDON by IHG ★★★★
"I booked this hotel for two nights so my child could enjoy the swimming pool, but unfortunately, it was closed for upgrades. This was not mentioned when booking, and we only found out at check-in, which left my child very disappointed. The real highlight of this hotel is the staff. From reception to the restaurant team and cleaners, everyone was professional, hardworking, and genuinely kind. Their service was some of the best I’ve experienced in the UK, and they really do their best to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The downside is the building itself, which is very dated. The rooms are squeaky, the doors and hallways are worn, and there’s no elevator. I saw several guests struggling with heavy luggage on the stairs, so if you have large bags, I’d strongly recommend requesting a ground floor room. That said, the building itself is outdated and badly in need of renovations. Doors have chipped paint, the hallway lighting is old, the sauna and changing rooms are poorly designed, and the gym has very limited space and equipment. Compared to other hotels in Swindon, this one feels extremely dated. Overall, my experience was good thanks to the wonderful staff and their service. I would consider staying here again, but for better value, there are other hotels nearby with larger rooms, elevators, modern facilities, and a better breakfast and restaurant experience. I truly hope Holiday Inn Swindon invests in a full upgrade of the building and facilities—partial, low-quality renovations (like the bathrooms) won’t be enough."
Travelodge Swindon West ★★★
"Excellent hotel.rooms very clean and comfy bed.. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Reshma, Eileen and Sedwin were excellent at making me feel welcome as I was travelling on my own.i would definitely book here again."
The Crown Inn ★★★
"It's great, I recommend it to everyone."
The Sun Inn ★★★★
"What an absolute amazing find. The setting was so beautiful and the room was outstanding and so much nicer than we could have ever imagined. The free standing bath was our favourite, the bed was very comfortable and the settee area was very nice. The staff were very understanding of my sons disability and were very patient and kind. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed and cannot wait to return. Could have easily stayed there for days"

"Good location. Better price with Trip than on Bonvoy. Shame the steam room was not working. No hot chocolate at breakfast. Water pressure in shower was underwhelming. Annoying that they charge 7.50 per night for parking when the hotel is in the middle of nowhere… pure greed."
Village Hotel Swindon
"Amazing hotel very clean and comfortable"
Overtown Manor Bed and Breakfast
"Just attended a the most brilliant cooking course with Nancy at the beautiful Overtown Manor. The one day course was excellent. Nancy carefully goes through each recipe at a relaxed pace and encourages questions throughout the demonstrations. We were taught a lot of new recipes and it was great to try new things and techniques. We were able to pick our own vegetables from Nancy's extensive vegetable garden and were able to take what we cooked home. If you are looking for some cooking inspration I would highly recommend this course - Nancy is such a great host, cook and teacher and I can't wait to try out all the new recipes. Oh and an overnight stay is a must as Nancy's breakfast's are the best!"
The White Hart, Wroughton
"We stopped there on the way to the hospital. The food they served us was enough to put you in hospital. The food was disgusting, with what looked like snot coming out of the vinegar bottle. The glasses were dirty, and the food was watery and tasteless. Complete waste of money will never return. "
DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon
"The order I paid for included dinner, but when I checked in, the front desk said it was not included. I waited for a long time before the front desk agreed to use dinner."
Holiday Inn Express SWINDON WEST by IHG
"Good experience"
Swindon Central
"Unfortunately there was a power cut. Despite having no electricity or water, the receptionists booked us into the hotel. Despite having mobility problems, the receptionist stated I had to climb 5 floors to my room on the top floor. There was no opportunity to wash or change, or even use the toilet, as there was no water. There was probably a huge risk to health and safety as people with mobility problems would not have been able to go down the stairs. There was a lairy alcoholic in reception who had come from the Weatherspoons pub, and eventually 2 policemen. The receptionist stated I was manned by 3 young people who hadn’t got a clue what to do. It appears there was no policy about what to do in a power cut. They refused to find another hotel for me and refused to give a refund. I will never stay at this hotel again, despite regularly travelling to Swindon"
Chiseldon House Hotel
"Wonderful location and friendly staff; however, the way the property is maintained leaves a lot to be desired. First of all, cleanliness is quite poor. In one room we found mold inside the window frames; in another, a broken window pane; and there were numerous cobwebs throughout the house. The bathtubs are potentially dangerous due to the height difference between the floors, and the bathroom fixtures also show clear signs of age. The hairdryer is frankly ridiculous—it looks at least 30 years old. The food is underwhelming and nothing special; I would not recommend dining on site. We had high expectations, but they were all disappointed, and even the breakfast was not enjoyable. Our only thanks go to the staff, who were always attentive and helpful."
The Fox & Hounds
Swindon North
"Very tired hotel and in need of refurbishment. Bathroom very cold and worn . Bed very comfortable but bedding looked tired and uncared for . Sadly given wrong time for breakfast next day at pub adjacent and arriving at 9.14 am as agreed we were rudely told breakfast finished at 9am and get a refund from hotel as it was their fault. The pub had confirmed 9.15am was fine the night previously when we had dinner there. Perhaps the hotel and pub could have staff training on liaison and customer service (from the pub) as we were rudely sent away despite continental breakfast fully available and all on show. Disappointing experience as we were attending a funeral with a long journey ahead and breakfast not available locally as booked and paid for in advance"
