Swindon Hotels with Breakfast

Have stayed before, always a pleasant experience. Close by to major traffic routes, pub and restaurant on the same plot. Good parking facilities apart from favoured facility for Electric vehicles which I will never understand. Why do EV drivers have preferred parking and indeed the facility to refuel. Hotels, businesses and shopping outlets seem to be hell bent on supplying the facility for EV drivers to recharge, when have you ever seen a facility for normal petrol and diesel vehicles to refuel at these locations. Are EV drivers too lazy to charge up at public charging locations. All I see is more and more parking bays being taken over to allow EV drives to recharge. This situation would make me mark down every business that does but there is no method that allows me to do this apart from in this comment.

Great overnight stay at the Swindon Holiday Inn.   Room was fresh and fully stocked for tea and coffee.  Shower was great.  Breakfast was well laid out, although mushrooms and a choice of egg styles / pastries could have tipped the balance to match a Premier Inn.   Staff on reception, breakfast and room housekeeping were so friendly and helpful.  The value for money was excellent.

The hotel's location is convenient, right near the train station, and it also has parking, which is great for self-driving tours. Although the room is a bit old, it's generally tidy, clean, and well-maintained. The air conditioning works well. While the breakfast options aren't extensive, the portions are generous, with a hearty full English breakfast.

Good location, for someone who commute to London/Bristol/Oxford. Room for someone who stay more than 10 days for business does not offers everything. A mini fridge for long staying should be included. I have requested the room to be cleaned every other day, this was not respected. The bedding was changed once only for a staying of 15 days. Bed comfortable. AC was working. I have stayed there when the heat wave was around UK, complimentary 1/2 L cold water would have been nice, however was not offered. Understaffed... If you want to leave suitcases after clearing the room was ok, free of charge. Across the road good a good traditional English pub. At times vandalism at the entry of the hotel can be noted and police arrive to arrest people. Around 5pm near the hotel there is a food bank centre, so noisy then... Not far from the hotel on Commercial rd someone can find small local businesses(I used a Polish outfit) where you can buy water after 8 PM or other necessities like tea/ honey. Overall it was OK

The exterior and common ground are clean and well maintained. The 2 rooms we stayed on reminded me of my student dorm during university days. Guess different portion of the house has different standard room. Rooms are definitely outdated, and the carpet needs cleaning, It does smell damp. Overall, it is reasonably good.

I came to Swindon from THAME to do my DVSA test, and passed it. Only because Village hotel was comfortable and I had a great night’s rest. It takes a village 🙃

The location was good with good restaurants near by. The room was neat and clean, but was so compact. The breakfast was nice, but there wasn't much option, but good for the price.

Clean, comfortable hotel. Comfortable bed, the shower is working properly. We enjoyed the stay itself. The only thing is that we booked the hotel for the big amount of people and the prices were growing accordingly. So the stay for the first and the last person who booked the hotel was twice smaller / bigger. Consider that and you’ll be fine.

Nice place to stay over! Good food and services even we ordered 11 pm, got everything great as expected.
