Hotel Mira Garden

Centrally located with easy access to restaurants, praised for cleanliness, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. Some mentioned staff being a little dozy.

We chose this hotel due to close proximity to family residing in the area. The hotel is warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly, polite and courteous. The rooms are ok size for a city based hotel and were clean and well kept. A few things to note: 1 key card per room isn't suitable, it's ideal to have 2 as adults sharing are not always coming and going together, so it's not practical. There was a shortage of towels - this is really unacceptable for a city hotel, we had to repeatedly request bath towels for the number of occupants in the room. Buffet breakfast - if you're there at the beginning, great! If not, items do not get replenished often and staff don't often understand requests, so will say yes to things that do not then appear. Perhaps it might appeal to more people if you have some cereal options for children or croissants/pastries as not everyone wants to eat curry at breakfast particularly if you catering to foreign and international guests. Hotel housekeeping were on hand and helpful. Overall a good hotel in an excellent location for exploring Sylhet. A few improvements that will vastly improve the experience of others, please take them on board.
