It's quite a long walk from Taichung Station. About 25 minutes. There were small cockroaches and big mosquitoes. It would be nice to have insect repellent spray. You can watch Netflix and YouTube in the room. There is a kettle and you can drink tea. There is a glass door between the toilet and the shower, so water does not get into the toilet. Toothbrushes are provided. The view from the window was great both day and night. I really like the sense of interior design in the common areas.
