Chance Hotel
"Chance Hotel in Taichung is exactly what you’d expect for the price of a 3-star hotel, and there’s nothing to complain about at this price range. The hotel is clean and provides all the necessary amenities. The most important highlight is the location—it’s right next to Taichung Train Station. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which makes everything very convenient. Overall, a good value stay."
La Vida Hotel
"Hotel is 3 mins walk to 逢甲market. Very convenient, room is spacious as well. However, the hotel doesn’t provide toiletries. Toiletries can be bought at the Watson located down the road or simply bringing your own. Overall good hotel 👍🏼"

Tempus Hotel Taichung

Norway Forest Travel hotel 3 Taichung
"There were several small insects like mites right next to the teacup, which was a bit annoying. The front desk staff were neither good nor bad. Also, I could hear a lot of noise from the next room, so it was a bit of a problem from the perspective of soundproofing."
Norden Ruder Hostel Taichung
"Nice hostel, the bed is single bed, not bunk bed, so the space is not cramped. Everything is clean and also smell good."
OKU Hotel Taichung
"Nicest designed hotel that I have been in all these years. With a nice lobby bar that spans 3 floors. Big comfy family room with art deco design. Nicely designed toilet and tub as well. Night market selling food around the hotel area. There is also a family mart below the hotel. Very good hotel and everything smells great and expensive. Good breakfast selection too."

Icloud Luxury Resort & Hotel
"Booked last minute, with the price I paid, this experience was phenomenal. We stayed in a Friday night, the room was spacious and our dogs really enjoyed. One thing that may require improvement is the pillow is too low other than that, we have nothing else to complain. We also enjoyed the free breakfast that came with the room we booked, I loved the fresh squeeze juice."
Windsor Hotel
"Great hotel. Fantastic burger restaurant for dinner, at extra cost but well worth it."
Han Guan Motel
"Awesome! It even includes breakfast, which is a really great value for the price. 🥰 The TV has excellent sound, and the audio quality is superb. The bathtub is large and very clean! The soundproofing in the room is also excellent. 👍"
The Splendor Taichung Hotel
"I stayed in this hotel a couple of times. Have to admit is time to forget it on my Taichung visit list. As the hotel is a bit old and the shopping center downstairs is actually without much shops to shop around. The trigger point is the Ms Sung 宋小姐at the reservation department. When I asked about change of dates from summer higher season to lower Sept season without asking for a refund ,instead of hearing at least an apology for not able to change, she actually scolded me in the whole conversation. Very seldom kind of service that would happen in this competitive market. Not to mention I am a frequent visitor to this hotel before. So the alternative is to choose the newer hotel at a more convenient spot. Forget this one. Not recommended"
Taichung Harbor Hotel
"It’s out near the coastal area. The complimentary shuttle service makes it easy for our visit. Good gym equipment and sauna facilities."
Evergreen Laurel Hotel (Taichung)

NingCui Business Hotel
"Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and the staff made a great impression with their kindness and professionalism. Everything was well organized, from the smooth check-in process to the overall service throughout the stay. The room was cozy, the amenities were excellent, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax after a long day. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area."
Elence Hotel
"The location is excellent, very close to the train station, and there are plenty of shops nearby for food and drinks. The room was very clean and spacious, with a window. The front desk staff were very helpful. I would definitely come back again."
Hotel Leisure
"The room is small but nicely furnished. Everything is new and my room has a good view of the traffic rotary. It is conveniently located next to the main strain station. Finding the hotel building is a different story. The hotel name and the name on Google Maps don't match and the locals don't seem to know it. To walk to the hotel (3-5 minutes), I have to walk past scores of homeless elderly people sleeping around the station. I wish the city government to do more to help the poor. During my stay, I may have experienced an earthquake from the aftershocks of the April earthquake. I went back to sleep..."
In Joy Hotel
"The hotel room is clean. We booked a 3 pax room. I think the futon bed is not very comfy and maybe mattress can be thicker. Location is a 10 to 14 min distance to fengjia not super near but easy to walk over. Breakfast average."
