SATURN HOTEL ★★★
"This was a great value-for-money stay. The room felt very comfortable and spacious, and the cleanliness was excellent – very well done. The smart toilet was a nice touch, and while the bathroom was a bit small, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The bed was just right in terms of firmness, perfectly suiting my needs. I was very satisfied with this stay and will definitely choose to stay here again next time."

"Comfortable and cosy. Will book again if travel around this area"
Chance Hotel ★★★
"I chose this hotel because it is a two-minute walk from Taichung station. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, including the famous ice cream place Miyahara. The laundry room has two washing machines and two dryers. I chose a windowless room, it was a great size for one person, and I couldn't hear my neighbours."

Icloud Luxury Resort & Hotel
"The moment I stepped into the room, I was hit by an overwhelming cigarette smell. I called the front desk to complain, but they informed me they were fully booked and couldn't offer a room change. Their only solution was to send someone to 'deal' with the smell by spraying air freshener. The smell was simply unbearable. I called again, offering to pay extra for a different room, and only then did they finally arrange one for us. While the new room was indeed smoke-free, the air conditioning was completely ineffective the entire night!!!!!! To make matters worse, when I tried to use the spa jets in the bathtub, a bunch of small bugs came out! 🙄🙄 I will absolutely not be returning to this place."
Golden Tulip Zhong Xin Hotel Taichung
"Location inconvenient."
The Splendor Taichung Hotel
"Great location, very convenient for transport!"
Voga motel
"Windows soundproofing is not very good"
Freshfields Hotel
"A wonderful stay, close to Taichung High Speed Rail Station. The view of Taichung City from the room's window was beautiful and relaxing. The in-room bathtub was fantastic, perfect for a relaxing soak while enjoying the night view. The ingredients and cooking were excellent. The breakfast was plentiful. Truly a family-friendly retreat. The front desk service was friendly. Highly recommended."
Taichung Harbor Hotel
"It’s out near the coastal area. The complimentary shuttle service makes it easy for our visit. Good gym equipment and sauna facilities."
In Joy Hotel
"The room was spacious, and the location was fantastic. The front desk staff, especially the female attendant, was very patient and friendly. Both breakfast and the late-night snacks were delicious. A unique and fun aspect of staying here was that they used casino-style chips to redeem meals – one chip for one item. This service was incredibly thoughtful and user-friendly."
THE METRO HOTEL TAICHUNG
"The actual room looks nothing like the photos online. The bathroom is incredibly old and run-down, the bathtub is grimy and clogged, and the showerhead is broken. The duvet and pillows are visibly yellowed and quite frankly, disgusting. There's a strong musty smell everywhere. It honestly feels like the place hasn't been cleaned in years. I had to sleep in my clothes for a few hours, and my respiratory tract felt irritated. I checked out first thing in the morning. I strongly advise against staying here. For the price, it's definitely not worth it – I can't believe they charge 500 for this!"
