Tainan Xinhua District Hotels

It was a cozy and nice stay experience that I would like to stay forever!　 It feels like I was staying at a farm run mainly by my family. I had a child of the same year, so I was allowed to play together all the time during my stay. The rooms are large and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. There is a pool and spa, and an observatory overlooking the surrounding mountains. Suspension bridge ... Rather than wire walk? Also thrilling. It was a good scale to walk with children as if it were an adventure. There were chickens and mini pigs in the garden, and the children were chasing after them all the time. Dinner is another order, but there are single items and a set of about 1000 yuan ／２ names, so it's perfect for a small trip. And delicious. Cocktails are also very satisfying. Breakfast is also gentle dishes mainly on porridge and vegetables. I woke up in the morning with a chicken cry and thought of the sunrise ... it was raining. Although the weather was not blessed, I am glad that I can go to a nice leisure farm with a feeling of unexplored territory by bus from Tainan Station (the bus stop is right in front of me!). This time it was cold, so I would like to go to the warm time next time!

When I checked in on the first night, the edge of the bed sheet felt a bit old, but it looked clean. When I lifted the quilt, I found a yellow stain on the bed sheet, as if it wasn't washed properly... But I was staying alone, so I didn't inform the front desk immediately to avoid trouble in the middle of the night, thinking that I wouldn't get touched by sleeping on the side. As a result, I felt itchy all over the whole night! Because we booked a 2-day stay, we quickly asked the front desk to arrange for housekeeping to clean the room the next morning. The changed sheets and quilts felt very clean, the quilt cover had no rust, and the name of the hotel was printed on it. But in the morning I was told that the cups on the counter table were terrible. The stacked cups had not been cleaned and were moldy. I didn't dare to use them at all. When I returned to the room the next night, I saw the same horrible cup. Overall, the transportation is convenient and you can see the location as soon as you exit the train station, which is very convenient. Although there is a place to play video games on the first floor, it is relatively safe as you can occasionally see the building manager patrolling the first floor. There are coin-operated washing machines and coin-operated lockers outside on the first floor. The service staff is friendly, the toilet is clean and the sound insulation is good, but the cleaning of the room may need attention.

Highly recommend. Receptionists are friendly, room is clean, the bus stop is in front of the hotel. I only have a small problem with the shower, hot and cold water are changed the position, but it was solved very quick.

My stay at Hotel Tainan was just okay overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was good, offering a decent variety of options to start the day. The room itself was fine, though it felt a bit outdated, particularly the bathroom, which was noticeably old, except for the modern heated toilet. While functional, the overall atmosphere of the hotel didn’t feel particularly pleasant or inviting. It served its purpose, but I wouldn’t describe it as a comfortable or memorable place to stay.

Old Man Captain Hostel is in an unbeatable location—right in front of TRA Tainan Station, making it super convenient for travelers. However, the entrance is a bit tricky to find as it’s inside the FamilyMart by the station, so it took me a while to figure out how to get in. There’s also a Ubike station nearby, which makes exploring the city really easy. The staff were friendly and spoke English well, which made check-in and general communication smooth. As for the dormitory, the beds were pretty basic, and the room itself was quite small. It wasn’t exactly dirty, but it wasn’t particularly clean either. If you’re just looking for a place to crash for a night or two, it does the job, but don’t expect anything fancy. Overall, a good option for budget travelers who prioritize location over comfort.

Could walk from the hotel to many points of interest in the old city. When it got too hot, could easily return to the hotel to rest and then go out again in the evening. The hotel has everything I needed. The provided list of good places to eat nearby was a big help to me.   The staff were very  friendly and helpful.

Overall, the room was quite spacious. If you're planning to stay at this hotel, there are a few things to keep in mind. 1. You must remove your shoes upon entering the hotel. There's no elevator, so if you're staying on the third floor, you'll have to walk up while carrying your luggage. 2. While the hotel can store your luggage, it doesn't supervise it, and you're not allowed to loiter in the common areas. 3. The TV volume is very low; even at full volume, you can't hear it clearly. Speakers are also not allowed. 4. The bathroom has no door, so you need to be very careful when flushing to prevent water from leaking.

I was looking forward to the Japanese style decoration when ordering Ordered only for the very flavorful bathtub When we arrived at the site, there was no bathtub. First of all, the service attitude is very good. The location of the homestay is excellent-it is very close to the Taiwan Railway, and the shopping mall is nearby. It is more convenient. The disadvantages are: 1. The stairs are too high and narrow, and it is really difficult if there are large luggage (we are two A 24-inch suitcase, living on the third floor, very hard) 2. Sound insulation and shading are not very good, you can clearly hear the sound of footsteps outside the door and the sound of the street, the curtains are too thin, and the room is bright at dawn, which will affect Sleep. But I have to say that the service is really good, helping us keep our luggage for half an hour. grateful
