I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! It exceeded my expectations in so many ways. The room was lovely and spacious, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a big bathtub and complimentary access to a washing machine and dryer – a real convenience for hotel guests. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, and their English proficiency made communication a breeze. The hotel's location was perfect for me, with a 7-11 and plenty of food options nearby, making it easy to grab a quick snack or a meal whenever I wanted. The only minor inconvenience was the walk from Daqiaotou MRT exit 1, which took around 7-10 minutes. Unfortunately, there was no shelter, so it could be challenging in rainy weather. My advice: don't forget to bring an umbrella! Despite that small hiccup, I would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Taipei. The overall experience, from the room amenities to the friendly staff and convenient location, left a lasting impression. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Hotel Puri Taipei Main Station during our holiday in Taipei. The location is superb! It was less than 5 mins walk from Taipei Main Station MRT which links to exit Y13 of Taipei City Mall. Food wise, there's literally a whole stretch of choices along the street where the hotel is located. 7-11 is also just diagonally opposite the street across the hotel. The hotel check-in and check-out experience is very smooth and the hotel premise itself is clean and well kept. There is ample space for a standard double bed room which I booked. Staff is friendly and greets you every time you walk past. Overall a very good experience for a budget friendly hotel with great service and location. I would recommend holiday goers to book this hotel when in Taipei. Tip: The entire underground system at Taipei Main Station is very complex as it houses the Red, Blue, Taoyuan Airport, HSR and Bus interchanges. Avoid using the underground walkways if you're not intending to do shopping / window shopping as these passage ways are a maze and can get you lost looking for point A to point B.

I stayed at a hotel very close to Daqiaotou MRT exit 1. The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the city. However, the hotel room was disappointingly small, and there was a slightly odd smell in the room. Ah, the room was showing its age, not bad but.......not enough outlets in the right places, many finishes need refreshing. Most notable, comfortable but small, quiet, as clean as it could be. The Taiwan special electric heated bidet style toilet seat, refreshing, welcome and puts USA toilets in 3rd or 4th place just above an outhouse with corn cobs for cleaning your backside. Hotel food was, fantastic. A buffet of fresh fish, vegetables, pork, beef and chicken. Shabu shabu for dining and cooking at the table. A steep but not objectionable price, (~$30 per head) Hagen Daz Ice cream, baked desserts, cheese cake. The steak served with the meal was small, maybe 2 oz and a little tough, but nice to see. The buffet room seats 75-100 people and was nearly full. Good to see. The service was excellent, no request went unfulfilled, all the staff was extremely responsive and made a great effort to speak English.

Pros: 1. 5 Stars service- Sam Chen and his team were very professional yet friendly from Day 1. They helped us make reservations at a popular restaurant upon our request and also arranged for a rental car (driver included!) 2. Perfect location- 5 mins walk from Taipei train station exit M5 3. Clean rooms and bathrooms- Tidy upon check in and daily housekeeping was diligently done (look at the spotless bathroom attached) Cons: 1. Not much of a view from window 2. Wifi is not strong in the rooms (Concierge solved this for us by installing a router in our room!)

The service is very good. The room is a little smaller than expected and the soundproofing is average. You can hear some noise when someone walks around outside. The bath, toilet and area for washing face and mouth are separate. As soon as I wash my face and brush my teeth, the floor is all wet, and the water barrier of the shower door is not fixed. After taking a shower, the floor is wet even though there is a towel hanging at the door to absorb water. But the effect is average and the water cannot be absorbed.
