Taitung Luye Township Hotels

It has been stated on trip.com that it is for two adults and one child (7 years old), and the booking website also states that children aged 0-7 years old can stay for free if they do not need an extra bed. When arriving at the store, the staff kindly reminded us whether to add money for 3 years old. We were worried that the shared room would not be enough for us, but after seeing the original room type for two, we thought it was enough for just one night, so there was no need to change rooms. But the staff also told me that the child would have to pay extra, which I found strange. After a round of communication, it turned out that if the child did not ask for extra pillows and towels, he would not need to pay extra. In the end, since the children’s supplies were also provided by themselves, there was no need to ask for extra pillows and towels. Checked in~ I just think the hotel should explain it more clearly on the booking website (I also remind everyone to read the terms clearly before booking), and they have already informed me that I have a 7-year-old child. The payment was successful online, but when I arrived at the store, it said that I would charge money. If you don't ask clearly, you will really misunderstand the meaning of free accommodation for 0-7 years old, which feels a bit bad. I hope it will be improved. The staff will not charge customers directly if they pre-set that children need extra pillows and towels. It would be better to clearly inform customers that they can choose whether to add extra money or not. But overall, the staff are friendly and responsive. As for small insects, I personally can accept it. The room is considered tidy if there are no small insects. Small insects only appear in the corridors. After all, it is a rural and mountainous area~ In addition, the sound insulation is not very good. You can still clearly hear the next door chatting until 3 in the morning. The room has basically all the equipment except for the refrigerator (it is clearly stated on the booking website that it is available 😂), but the impact is not big.

1. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and the hand-brewed coffee was great, but it was a pity that we went too late and some things were not replenished. 2. The hot spring water in the room was not hot enough, and the water in the bathtub would slowly drain away, which was a bit of a waste of water. 3. There was a problem with the WiFi on the 5th floor, and the TV could not be watched. After it was repaired, it still could not be watched the next morning.

Because I have to participate in the itinerary of the Busan Museum the next day, I specially chose a homestay closer. We arrived at 9 o'clock in the evening, the road was dark and not very open, and the proprietress was still warmly greeted after arriving, and she felt a lot at ease. The quadruple room has more than 1,000 breakfasts a night on weekdays, which is very favorable!

The B&B is surrounded by birds and flowers, and the lush environment is very comfortable. The breakfast is simple porridge, side dishes, coffee and toast. The room is spacious and clean. The supplies include large and small towels, disposable toothbrushes, wall-mounted push-type hair dryers, electric kettles, and shampoo and shower gel. It only takes 8 minutes to get to Luye Gaotai from the B&B. The delicious Luye Big Bone Noodles are also just on the roadside to the B&B. The location of the B&B is a bit secretive. I hope the hotel owner can put up more warning signs.

From August 12-15, I was here for both hot air balloon flight and paragliding. First time in Taitung and the hot air balloon company recommended to get accommodation at Luye township instead of Taitung city. If you plan to hire chartered ride, stay in Taitung city. The resort offers breakfast (if you opt-in); and dinner at their restaurant that only serves steamboat. The restaurant doesn't serve lunch. Yup, you heard it right, NO lunch and this property is a resort. Staff are courteous. Unfortunately, my feedback about my room kettle emitting odor after boiled was not attended. Transportation....you definitely need chartered service.

The hotel environment is quiet and the health condition is very good! Lao Geban is also a very nice person!

The owner of the homestay is a husband and wife who treats people sincerely. The cooking skills are very good and the breakfast is very rich and exquisite. There is an attached hairdressing styling service, which is the favorite of female travelers. The location of the homestay is next to the Luye high platform. You can see hot air balloons flying high without going to the scene. There is a lot of parking space here. It is a great clean homestay.
