Excellent
GGuest UserWe live in a quadruple room, clean and comfortable, the room and the bathroom are quite large, there are many sockets, there is a round table and hanger and even a dehumidifier, there are instant noodles, egg toast jam and black tea wheat tea coffee can be made by yourself, the first floor space is also very comfortable, I like it very much!
LLiThe hotel is clean and in a good location. There are many places to eat outside and it's not far to walk. It's just that the sound insulation is really not very good.
There are water dispensers on every floor, and you can drink ice water! It’s really needed in Taitung (bonus points)! ! The water is quite delicious.
There are free bicycles you can borrow, which is very convenient for people who don’t have transportation to travel alone. It saves money and effort. You can ride to the beach or go around to see the scenery.
It is recommended that the bicycle be inspected regularly, especially the chain and brake pads. The one I borrowed was in a serious condition of rust and wear. For safety reasons, it is better to check it again before riding.
Overall satisfied!
GGuest UserFantastic! Check-in was smooth, and the location is both convenient and safe. The facilities are relatively new, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The ambiance was wonderfully tranquil; I spent a whole afternoon lounging in the downstairs common area, which was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. They even went above and beyond when I accidentally left a bottle of refreshing liquid (花露水) in my room – they found it and emailed me to ask if I'd like them to mail it to me.
GGuest UserThe location is great, near Tiehua Village. The hotel doesn't have parking, but there's a public underground parking garage nearby that's affordable and very convenient.
It's a newly renovated hotel, and the elevator is still covered. The hallways still have a slight odor (though not in the room). The rooms are brand new, with a large TV and bidet. Some of the decor was dusty, but for a price over 1,000 yuan, these issues are negligible.
LLAU RJThis is a fairly new hotel. We booked the cheapest double room for only around NT$3,000, which is definitely a good value. The customer service staff, both online and in-house, were very helpful and responsive. The bathroom was a bit small, but basically clean. The shower had good water pressure and a separate wet and dry area. There was free coffee in the common area, and cat petting was available at night. Although the soundproofing in the room was not very good, the noise from the guests next door was not disturbing, and I slept quite comfortably. The rooftop is also designed for stargazing and sunset viewing. The biggest problem was that when the wind was strong, there was a lot of noise from objects banging around outside. When the wind was weak, the mosquitoes and flies in the hotel were quite insane.
IIrvineMom820Our stay at this hotel was a mixed experience, and overall, I wouldn't consider it worth the cost.
The hotel itself is old, and the facilities feel very dated. While it boasts a large swimming pool and spa areas, they were unusable during our stay as they were running with cold water. We didn’t see anyone using them. The “beauty pool,” which was advertised as having heated water, was disappointing due to a strong sewer-like smell. Additionally, the sauna is not complimentary for hotel guests, which felt unreasonable.
The dining experience was also underwhelming. The à la carte food in the restaurant was below average in quality, the portions were small, and the prices were high. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, though it felt odd being the only customers at 8 p.m. On a brighter note, the breakfast was excellent. I would rate it four stars for its variety of local and aboriginal food, which was a highlight of the stay.
The timing of activities for kids was inconvenient as well. While kids could play pool and ping pong for free in the evening (after we arrived at 7 p.m.), all other activities were scheduled for late morning or early afternoon, after checkout time.
The hotel’s location is another drawback. It is far from restaurants and busy areas, making it necessary to have a car or take a taxi.
The one positive aspect of our stay was the room. We booked the premium family room/suite, which provided separate sleeping areas for parents and kids—a feature we appreciated. However, this came at a premium price, costing 25% more. I had requested a room with a view, and the front desk clerk was accommodating, which I appreciated.
Overall, while the room and breakfast were nice, the rest of the experience didn’t justify the cost or the inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and services.
Ggina1234567890It is very close to the transfer station. After getting off at Taitung Railway Station, you can take the bus to get there. It is also very convenient if you want to take the Taiwan Express.
It is also very close to the morning market. There are many choices for breakfast near the morning market. Now is the peak season for pineapples. They are sweet, juicy and cheap. Because it is close to the production area, I go to the market every day to buy pineapples and ask the boss to help peel them.
At dusk, you can rent a ubike to go to the beach to watch the sea, ride a ubike slowly in the city, and listen to music in Tiehua Village at night.
AAnonymous UserA wonderfully located hotel that has the mountain view as there is no other tall buildings around it. Parking is convenient - just outside the hotel, hotel basement or an open-air parking area opposite the hotel.
Room is very spacious and two full sized luggage can be opened comfortably with ample walking space. The toilet is big as well. There is bread and coffee/tea/juice available 24 hour. Instant noodles vending machine is available too. There is no convenience store around the hotel.
Wide variety of food is available during breakfast - porridge with condiments, cooked food, toast, fruits, salad etc.
Totally enjoyed the view that the room has to offer!
GGuest UserThis is a really cosy place. I really love my room. Clean and modern interior. The only downside might be the location. It's close to the train station. But there isn't much nearby for food. Probably best to rent a scooter to explore Taitung anyway to make your stay more convenient. They are plenty of scooter shops near the train station too.
TtwinkleracI had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel.
There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because ”the hotel is closed for the day”. When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered ”because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number”. This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant.
Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on.
Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another.
In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again.
