"We actually stayed here in december 22/jan23 and again in dec 23/jan 24, but i forgot to review! We absolutely love this hotel. The architecture, the position and the rooms are highlights. Love the gin bar and the breakfasts. The service is very hit and miss, but i believe that is down to the culture rather than the hotel. Having to asking for things multiple times, and lots of staff running around looking busy but not actually doing anything, as long as you can chill out on good service then you will love it. (sometimes i just got things myself in the end!) The rooms on the front line have magical views especially at sunset. Sadly the pools are pretty cold in winter. The kids club is great (mine aged between 6-10) and they have fredom to come and go. Food is good but gets repetitive. NYE there was a great party both years."

"You get what it says on the tin. I paid for 2 weeks, my father died. No hesitation full refund no hassle. The owner kindly offered to take me bus station. Very friendly , relaxed. The atmosphere is brilliant the breakfast is excellent value for money. Superb kitchen. I'm 50 , the other guests where young, however we all had a good time. Fully recommend"

I can recommend the Maison Darna without reservation. As it is a bit high up, a car is recommended, but not necessary."
