After exploring other parts of Uzbekistan, I returned to this hotel before my flight the next day. The staff was incredibly kind.. they even let me stay past checkout without any hassle. I really appreciated their flexibility!

When we write these reviews we are faced with certain parameters such as amenities and service. Of course the amenities in a budget hotel are not going to be anywhere near a five-star hotel, so does that mean you should rate the hotel much lower and compare it to a five-star hotel? For the money this hotel is excellent, the rooms are good not spectacular, but it is not a five-star hotel. What is five star however in my opinion is the location because there are some very excellent restaurants nearby and that is important when you are traveling since you cannot cook your own food in the hotel. Also the morning breakfast buffet that is included was very good. So all in all this place is highly recommended.

This was my first hotel after arriving in Uzbekistan and my first trip to Central Asia. The staff had excellent English and I was very pleased with the elegant lobby and the cleanliness of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was the best of my trip with so many choices.
The room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. All the fixtures were new and worked perfectly.
Personally, I really loved the location of the hotel. I found the Cholonzor area to be full of local life and the streets close to the metro to be worth wandering around. With Yandex or a ten minute walk to the metro, you are close to everything.
When I returned to Tashkent, at the end of my trip, there were no rooms available, and I wound up staying at another very nice (but more expensive) hotel, but I found that I really missed the location and area of the Blue Shore International.
