It's a small and neat motel. The man at the front desk is very nice. There is WIFI, a microwave and an electric hot pot. There are also many restaurants near the lake. I will stay here next time I come to Taupo.

Service is not bad, in the center of the town, very close to the lake. There is Chinese service, service is not bad, health is good. And parking space, parking is convenient, very close to McDonald's, it is unreasonable to check out at 10 am, check out is constantly urged, it feels very bad.

Hotels in Taupo are expensive, but this one was the cheaper one I found at the time. The man at the front desk also gave me fresh milk, which was really delicious. They even called the 800 number for me because I didn’t have a local mobile phone card. But the hotel does not count as a true lake view room. Only some rooms face the lake, and the others are on the side.

Very clean amenities, staff were very helpful. Community kitchen is a great idea and we’ll set out with all utensils needed to cook a meal. Would definitely recommend the Silver Fern to anybody.

I stayed just one night. There were 3 people in my room and 8 people is available in my room. There were 4 bunk beds and i stayed the below one. It was so low ceiling so i hit my head so many times 🤣 The bed was not dirty but not clean. The kitchen was small but i think it was enough. So i am almost satisfied with the hotel. I stayed Haka house Rotorua before, so I expected that Haka house in Taupo also be same quality. But in Rotorua was better hahah please check my review of Haka house Rotorua🙂

The room is spacious and well-equipped, suitable for holiday and leisure. The beautiful Lake Taupo is just across the road, and McDonald's is a few minutes' walk away. The location is convenient and relatively quiet.

There are Chinese at the front desk. Call McGee. The service is very good. very warm. We upgraded our room, We renewed our subscription for another day. Give local milk, biscuits. Stayed for three nights. The room was clean and quiet. Go to the big supermarkets, restaurants, town center, and you can go on foot. Very convenient. Then help rent a car, if you pick up the car at the airport, We can pick up the car at the airport when we get off work. Then I found out there was a car rental place in town, It's only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Then tell the local attractions to play. Also introduced local cuisine. The hotel is very new, the facilities are very complete, the kitchen is laundry and dry, the bed is very comfortable. The front desk got off work very early, but Ctrip’s order had a problem, and the hotel staff had been helping to coordinate the stay and praised one. It is necessary to criticize the background efficiency of Ctrip, and the hotel will only receive confirmation after a few hours of ordering. There are a lot of accommodation options in Taupo, but this one can still come next time and see many foreigners also live here.
