"This is a newly opened hotel in Teckes, with two buildings. We stayed in the new one, and the room was incredibly spacious with a well-designed bathroom featuring two shower stalls and two sinks. During our stay, we were provided with complimentary fruits and snacks. There's a self-service laundry room on the 5th floor, and breakfast is served on the 1st floor with a wide variety of dishes. As for amenities, there's plenty of parking right outside."

"Unexpectedly satisfied! It's an old-school log cabin, renovated with a lot of character. Inside, it's equipped with electric blankets and electric heaters, so no need to worry about the cold. The surrounding environment is also superb – very quiet with fresh air. The staff's attitude was excellent, and the service was attentive and patient, promptly resolving any issues. It's genuinely pet-friendly; my little dog had a great time too. If it weren't for time constraints, I'd really love to stay a few more days."

"The children picked flowers themselves from the meadow 🌸, soaked them in alkaline water for half an hour, and then made batik bags by hand 👜. Breakfast was nutritionally balanced, with the highlight being a baurzak (a type of ******* pastry) paired with handmade apricot jam from the herders – absolutely delicious 👍. In the evening, the butler delivered bedtime milk to each room 🥛 – so thoughtful ❤️. The rooms all had large-screen projectors, so soaking in the bath at night while listening to Cantonese songs on the Maishall speakers was amazing 👍👍. Opening the window in the morning 🪟 revealed herds of cattle 🐮 and sheep 🐏. We unexpectedly stayed in a suite that wasn't yet open, experiencing "wild" prices for "luxury" quality [heart]. We highly recommend this guesthouse in Qiongkushitai [sun][sun]"

"This hotel just opened this May Day, and it's quite tasteful. Although the facilities are still being perfected, it's already very good. The camp is very close to the East Gate, about a 5-minute drive away. The owner is very nice; we didn't sleep well the night before, and he proactively upgraded our room. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kalajun!"

But I forgot to take a photo of the room... "The owner wasn't there when I went, so I didn't experience the enthusiastic service described in the reviews. However, the owner remotely fixed a problem with the lights next to the hot spring pool not working, which was a very satisfactory outcome. Soaking in the pool was very comfortable, and the kids had a blast. There were very few insects in the hotel's grass area, mostly just a few grasshoppers, which didn't affect the experience! The grill is an extra charge of 50 yuan, just for your reference!"

"The room is in log style, simple and generous, with large space. I like the tatami structure, and it is very comfortable to sit by the bed. There is a bathtub. After a day of playing, it is so comfortable to take a bath. There are many kinds of breakfast, and the boss is very attentive. You can also order coffee. As a transit station, Tekes is close to the scenic spots. You can go to Kalajun Grassland, Qiongkushitai, Qiaxi, and Aktas Grassland nearby. For food, you can try the King of Roasted Buns and Sirdasi Barbecue (a barbecue restaurant that locals like to go to). You can go to Lijie at night. There are many accessories. You can also go to the city that never sleeps to watch performances and feel the exotic customs of Xinjiang. The boss is very enthusiastic, the service is thoughtful, and he is very sentimental. The yard is managed like a small garden. You can pet dogs and cats. The dog is called Eleven and the cat is called Xiaola. One is naughty and the other is cute. I like the terrace in the yard very much, which has ethnic minority decorations. It rained a little that day. It was very quiet to sit on it and listen to and watch the rain. Then, we saw a double rainbow!!! Living in Tara, I hope to pass on this good luck to you."

The hostess is incredibly warm and enthusiastic, providing thoughtful and attentive service. She was always happy to help with anything we needed and even prepared special little gifts. These thoughtful touches made us feel as welcome as if we were visiting a friend's home. From the environment, cleanliness, and comfort to the service, everything was very satisfying, truly making us feel right at home. It was a wonderful stay with excellent value for money. I genuinely recommend it to everyone and will definitely choose to stay here again next time!"

The room we booked was large and clean, separated from wet and dry, but there were two mosquitoes at night, and I was decisively shot to death in the middle of the night. Others were very good. The glass door is not very soundproof. Other guests live in the middle of the night, and the children run back and forth a bit noisy."

Tekes Rezen Mingyu Hotel (Bagua Cheng Taiji Tan)
"Let's start with the positives: the room was very clean with excellent natural light, and the bedding was super comfortable. It even had an 'XiaoDu' smart speaker, which was a cute touch, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and always greeted me politely when I came and went. The parking lot was spacious. For around 300+ yuan a night, it definitely offered good value for money. Now for the drawbacks: First, the location is a bit out of the way. While Bagua City isn't huge and it's only about a five-minute walk to Taiji Altar, it's really hard to hail a taxi as they generally don't come to this area, so you have to pay extra to use Didi. Second, unfortunately, there's no mini-fridge in the room, which at this price point, is something I'd expect. Third, although there's a washing machine, availability is quite limited. The wash and dry cycle wasn't very effective; my clothes weren't completely dry even after more than an hour of drying. The laundry area seemed quite chaotic and unsupervised, with clothes just piled up. Someone even ended my drying cycle prematurely. I hope the hotel management can improve this. As a hotel recommended on Xiaohongshu for a stopover in Tekes, the hardware and attention to detail still need some work."

The value for money far exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

"Having booked hotels on Ctrip for so many years, this is the first time I've had serious doubts about its rating system. This hotel isn't even a 2-star hotel; I don't understand how it got a 4-star rating. The room is right next to the road with terrible soundproofing; I could hear car noise all night. When I checked in, there were clearly many empty rooms, but when I asked to change rooms, the lobby staff mockingly told me they were all booked. Do you have to book a room number now? Or are Ctrip members only entitled to rooms like this? The breakfast was awful. The breakfast area looked like a construction site, with very few options, and they didn't serve anything else after I finished. It's the first time in my history that I haven't had milk in a 4-star hotel. If Ctrip continues like this, I'll seriously reconsider booking hotels through their app. Booking through chain hotel apps is more troublesome, but at least you won't have any bad experiences."
