MMingkonggongziFirst of all, the service was very warm and thoughtful. It was late and rainy on the day we arrived. They recommended several local specialty restaurants, which were indeed delicious. They also drove us back to the B&B.
Secondly, I booked a double terrace. The room was spacious and warm. The terrace allowed you to see the grass and lambs in the yard (cute brown curly hair). The toiletries were of very good quality and disposable. The whole room was clean and tidy. The only small suggestion was that the arched doorway of the shower toilet should face the door of the room, or make a shower room with frosted glass or something? It would be more private.
Finally, the breakfast and drinks at the B&B were very rich, hahahaha, they were all my favorites, and there were free refreshments during the day. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and didn't have time to experience the cultural and creative products. When I left, the lady also gave me a souvenir. The lavender sachet smelled good and the dried fruits were also appetizing.

I came to Xinjiang for ten days, the most satisfying stay, the boss is good, sincere communication. Just opened soon, whether from the facilities or from the layout, it is first-class, very careful management. I rarely write reviews. This time I was really touched. The oyster film not far from the boss recommended is also delicious. From the moment we arrived, the staffâs hospitality and service were not just comparable to world-class 5-star hotels in many ways, they exceeded them. As a non-Chinese speaking guest, I was a little nervous at first, but the team went above and beyond to make me feel completely at ease. Their cheerful smiles and genuine warmth were so heartwarming. What touched me the most? They constantly checked on my fiancĂ©e, who is vegetarian, making sure she had wonderful options at every meal. Seeing that level of care for her meant the world to me. They even carried my heavy luggage to the roomâ€ïž
Activities (both paid and free):
They have horseback riding with the on-site coach â highly recommend (yes, it's a paid service). For free activities, thereâs a giant swing (reminiscent of the one in Kalajun Grassland), archery, and the most beautiful, calm animals: two incredibly cute lambs, a cow, several horses, and the sweetest little dog who will greet you. If youâre nervous around animals, donât worry â they are the chillest, calmest creatures and will only approach if you call them.
Food: 10/10. My fiancĂ©e said it was the best meal she had in all of Xinjiang. Cooked by the wonderful Ah Po and Ah Gong, every dish felt like a loving home-cooked meal made by grandparents. Thereâs also an adorable cafe hut (though we didnât get coffee â we were too busy being in awe of everything around us).
Room standards: This is where they truly shine. Air conditioning, heater, soft comfy bed, overhead curtains to open or close for stargazing, fridge, hairdryer, lighted mirror, heated toilet â and spotlessly clean. We slept like a baby.
And finally⊠stargazing.
This is exactly why I chose this place. We stayed up until 3 AM, completely mesmerized by a sky full of stars like Iâve never seen before. Iâll let the photos I uploaded do the talking. đ (I have added the settings I used on iPhone to take the photos, bring a stand and on night mode:30s with exposure adjustment and ProRAW turned on)

RRakdoiWe had a great stay here at Xinyejian Homestay! The room was clean and comfortable, and there was a radiator and heated bed so we never felt cold at all. The hosts were also friendly, attentive and caring, they responded quickly on WeChat, and helped us arrange for a driver to Qiongkushitai and back to Tekes as we did not drive our own car. They also recommended a very good horseman who brought the horses right to the homestay to begin horse riding to Sunwu Road and Gaoshan Hu. We went in the first week of September and the grass was still green, there are slopes at the back and next to the homestay with occasional grazing sheep, horses and cows to explore. It is at a good location, between the entrance to the back mountains and Qiongkushitai village/ Wusun road, the walk on foot is about 20 minutes each way. The hosts also sent us walking route directions and offered to send us by car to the back mountains, he also picked us up from the village car park on our first day. At night we could see the Milky Way and the stars, and it is very quiet at night. The hosts also prepare a daily breakfast and we ordered a yummy dinner as well on one of our nights there. Would recommend everyone to choose this homestay.

XXingfudemaxiuWe are newcomers to Northern Xinjiang for the first time. I originally booked this B&B because I was going to Kalajun Grassland (top 3 scenery in Ili). Unexpectedly, I accidentally bumped into Qiongkush Terrace, which ranks top 2 in Ili scenery.
This B&B is on the top of a mountain. It has an excellent location. The scenery outside the window is so beautiful. Please see the accompanying picture, no photoshop. You are very close to the stars at night, and you can watch the sun rise from Tianshan Mountain in the morning! And there is also this so-called internet celebrity swing (we didnât know about it until we arrived). It is estimated that many people go to the swing in the back mountain because of a few big Vs, but the real thing is here! The house is clean and warm. The boss is very enthusiastic and down-to-earth. To get here, you need to walk a mountainous road with many twists and turns. Remember to fill up your tank before going up the mountain. This is what the boss told us. So we arrived very late, and the boss was waiting all the time and cooked delicious food for us!
The biggest surprise was going to the Wusun Ancient Trail! ! We gave up on Karajun directly. The rainforest on the Wusun Ancient Trail is simply an instant kill for Kalajun. No tickets yet. It is recommended to enter on horseback, but you can of course go on foot. If you are riding a horse, it is recommended to find a local kid friend. They will not only tell you a lot of local life stories. They also take various photos for you, which is of great emotional value!

GGanjubingChoosing Wuyin Zhidi for our trip to Kalajun was absolutely the right decision! The hotel is super close to the East Gate of Kalajun Scenic Area, just a ten-minute drive. Our butler, Xiao Ba, wasn't just handsome, but also incredibly thoughtful and attentive. He was always responsive to our needs and gave us great tips on the best places to visit and the most beautiful scenic spots â he was really, really nice! As for the hotel room, it was very clean, spacious, and had an amazing view. They even treated us to a wonderful, extensive afternoon tea with incredibly sweet fruit. This place is definitely worth it! Highly, highly recommend!!!

GGuest UserThis homestay really exceeded expectations! The location is very good to find, and it is convenient to eat and buy things around. The small courtyard and the room are particularly comfortable and clean, and it is relaxing to look at. The lighting is good, and the air is particularly fresh when the window is opened. Toiletries are basically disposable, the quality is super good, the comfort is used, the bedding is comfortable, and the night sleeps super fragrant.
The front desk brother is super enthusiastic! As soon as we arrived at the door, we took the initiative to help us lift the suitcase to the door, very intimate! If you have any questions, ask him to answer them patiently. The little brother is not only enthusiastic, but also a âlive mapâ! Ask him what delicious and fun places are nearby, and the recommended places are particularly authentic. Follow the food and play without stepping on thunder, worry-free!
The most pleasant surprise is that there are cute puppies in the store (called Wangcai ïœ)! Super cute and cute, quiet, just let the puppies! There are also apricots to pick!

GGuest UserMy stay at Qiongkushitai Stargazing had its pros and cons.
On the positive side, the room's bed was equipped with heating, which was incredibly useful given the cold local weather. I was able to sleep quite comfortably at night and get some good rest. The guesthouse also had many adorable and lively small animals, including lambs, bunnies, and chickens.
However, there were a few issues with the bathroom facilities. Firstly, the bathroom temperature was quite low, lacking sufficient heating, making showers feel very cold. Secondly, the hot water supply was inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold, making it difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. In the mornings, hot water was almost unusable, causing significant inconvenience for washing. Additionally, the bathroom drainage system needs improvement. The drain was slow, leading to severe water accumulation during showers, which affected the user experience and posed a potential safety hazard.
Overall, the guesthouse service was excellent. They provided afternoon tea and a sweet soup before bed. The guesthouse manager also promptly came to help resolve the bathroom issues.
