Outstanding service in a property that is well kept . This is something I did not expect. For the price of the room I had expected it to be another half good/ half bad experience. To my surprise, we found a caring service team, a property that is surprisingly well set and food and beverages that are on par with any five star resort. Upon arrival, the impression is one of a set up that is more on par with your Caribbean resort than anything I have seen in Ecuador. Check-in was quick, though my impression was that front desk staff was not very knowledgeable about activities outside of the resort. The room was well appointed, sufficiently stocked and well maintained. Everything worked. No airco, but this is probably more of a management decision than a lack of interest in a positive guest experience. We then strolled around, and found a couple of pools, one of which was large and had a water slide. Ideal for kids, really. There are pathways around the property, leading to different areas such as an auditorium, a very nice Spa and even an observation tower that in theory allows to see far and wide. We dined at what appeared to be the only restaurant, aside from a pool side food and beverage outdoor type of location. Food and beverages were excellent. Service was not loud but quick and silent. As it should be. Check-out was easy. We loved it, and will if time allows it, visit in the future. Though this appears to be a property for families, couples appear to be welcomed as well. The place is large enough for you to be away from it all while enjoying the jungle theme. I highly recommend it. Management is always present, checking things and service. But there is no sign of the service drama you often find in resort type properties. Hope this helps.
