We stayed for 8 nights with a little kid. And I was quite sad when we had to leave, which says it all really. The staff is great, the hotel is great and is being well maintained, the food is very good, the drinks are great, the desserts, fruits and nibbles are great, the level of relaxation even with some kids around incl my own is great. It's neither too big, nor too small and is very NOT crowded because by my count there are around 35 rooms of which like half have their own private pools so people are very spread out in the resort at all times. You can always find plenty of sunbeds both on the beach or around the pools and the pools themselves are not crowded at all. The pool water is warm in mid June, ideal for both kids and adults. The beach is not great IMO - it's mostly man made it seems and as a result is very rocky and muddy. You have platforms that you go on in order to go to deeper in the water where the water is good enough to dive. If you just want to enjoy the sun and sand without going into the water then I guess its alright since the beach bar is included in the all inclusive package. The good thing is there are somewhat decent beaches in Potos and Limenaria like 2 to 5 mins away by car - they are alright even if they are not perfect. For example last year we went to Pachis beach in the northern part of the island and that was better than Potos and Limenaria (but also requiress a hefty min spend per sun lounger to stay there). Parking is plentyful, we never had an issue. The 3 pools are with these depths - 0.6m, 0.8m-0.6m mix and 1.4m, so perfect for kids and adults alike. For evenings out both Limenaria and Potos have decent tavernas, bars, cafes. Daytime other than pools and beaches, there are tennis court, kids playgrounds, giant chess, billiards, Table tennis, spa and maybe some other things to do that I am forgetting. A few MINOR suggestions for next year: - Would be great if you can add some small retractable laundry drying racks in the rooms - just to be able to put wet swimwear and for example shirts on there, not to to do full blown laundry of course. - A little more variety in main meals in the restaurant, especially for lunches. - Get and serve drink orders a little faster for lunch/dinner. There aren't that many guests and sometimes we would get the drinks near the end of the meal - to me it seemed more lack of organization rather than lack of sufficient staff on this. Hoping to be back next year in all honesty :)

A beautiful hotel with attention to detail. From Molton Brown toiletries, to a fabric bag for your beach towels, call buttons for service on the beach umbrellas, sweet treats delivered around the pool in the morning, a bowl of nuts with every alcoholic drink. Wonderful service from everyone and outstanding service from the lovely maitre d’ . The spacious junior suites (many of the 35 suites having a private pool) were spotless and well presented with sea view and patio and balcony furniture above expectations. Food was superb, with a choice of locations and venues as well as a main dining room with show cooking. There was never an issue in finding a sunbed around the pool or on the beach at any time of the day. All in all we totally loved our stay and would book again in a flash! 5 🌟

We are coming every year again to this amazing hotel and we just regret that our holidays are ending to fast (this year we had 2 weeks!). The whole crew is creating a wonderful atmosphere and delivering first class services, everything, from housekeeping to reception, restaurant or bar.

We will be bringing home such special memories from our time at this lovely hotel. Where do I begin? Foremost, your staff. They are a credit to you. The wait staff, the cleaners, your lovely Maítre-D. So friendly and helpful always going that extra mile. The view from the infinity pool is idyllic and one we never tired of. The food was fantastic, a great choice at the buffet with a-la-carte dishes also. The desserts are to die for! My only disappointment is the gym, its location is in full sun and there is not a lot of equipment. For men there are no heavy weights at all so only a limited workout is possible. The staff though are friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our almost daily visits and made the best of it. I would have loved to have visited the gym first thing before breakfast but it doesn’t open until ten and by then you would have just had breakfast. If you go before dinner it is very hot because it’s in full sun so lunchtime is best which really isn’t practical on holiday. On to all the other positives. Our room was immaculate and clean and also well equipped. The private pool elevates your holiday in to something truly special. We will definitely return to this beautiful hotel, we honestly were so sad to leave. Lastly, the barn swallows were busy flitting around catching insects and the room above could not be used as there was an active nest. It is illegal to dismantle an active nest so good to see the hotel adhering to these rules and respecting nature. The swallows are a delight. Lastly we loved the jetties, we swam off the jetties every day. Crystal clear water and sea temperature was a little bracing but within a couple of minutes you get used to it. We will return!

The Alexandra Elegance Bridging Generations hotel on Thassos is the best hotel I have ever stayed. The staff are amazing they will go out of there way to get you what you want and the rooms are so big and very clean. Because a lot of the rooms have there own pool it is away quite around the main pool and bar the food you can order anywhere and it is all fresh the hotel grows all there own food or it comes from local people including the wine this hotel is a 5 star i think they need to make it a 10 star hotel.

This hotel surprised both me and my mum. We used to go to the top hotels in Greece so we didn’t have high hopes. HOWEVER, we were more than pleasantly surprised. Hotel room was great, private pool even better. But the best was the hospitality. I’ve never been in hotel with so friendly and welcoming and professional at the same time. I’d recommend Alexandra Elegance to everyone

warm welcome on arrival with a very welcoming cold drink, shown to our room which i must say was very well presented big spacious room, large bathroom with equality large shower, bed was supper comfy. the view from the balcony was nice very relaxing to sit on there and admire sea view and watch the sun setting .... breakfast was nice plenty of choice although not everything to my taste but would never go hungry, bar and infinity pool area was very tidy and a pleasure to sit and have a relaxing drink. all the staff in the hotel that i spoke with were very polite and friendly giving the impression nothing was to much bother. well done all the severing staff. beach area i would say was like a lot of Greek beaches I've been on not fantastic as Stoney so yes sea shoes required, beach towels regularly changed which was good nice garden area pleasant to walk around. Not so good points. sun loungers not the best on beach for the standard of the hotel, but were free for the Elegance customers. once off beach the walk way back to hotel was rough maybe some improvement there required. closing the pool at 6pm seemed way to early i understand service team need time to clean but still to early. most disappointing was the standard of room cleaning, although cleaned each day with fresh towels and bedding it was only a basic brush and mop over, on a number of occasions the glasses and cups not cleaned / replace with clean, it was evident that the balcony glass had not been cleaned very well as well as the floors, i would only give 2 out of 5 for room cleaning. on one occasion returning to our room in front of the door and just inside room was covered with concreate dust / debris, cable sleaving screws from what i assume was due to having a door light replaced, on this occasion i did have to call for the service team to come and clean area. despite my negative points they were not to the extent of ruining my holiday, but had these issues albeit minor ones not been evident my stay would have been vastly improved. some may think i am being picky but this is my overall opinion.

The place is for people wanting to relax, it is quiet and cozy. The food and services are very good in the main restaurant. The services in hotel could be improved as the technical requirements about the pool were not solved and we were not able to use the private pool because it was never cleaned during our stay. The beach services could also be improved because the hotel had a private beach but other people were allowed to stay outside the hotel.
