Hotels Near Mausoleum of Musa Baba in Thessaloniki

Central, close to tourist attractions and many diverse restaurants. The staff were efficient, helpful and pleasant. We had a single en suite room each which were perfect for a short stay. Everywhere inside was clean and we loved the well-supervised breakfast. It’s worth noting that it’s situated on a side street which is much quieter than the nearby main road…

We had a wonderful stay at the Urban Chic Hotel in Thessaloniki. Very clean room, perfect amenities (great shower and air con, Nesspresso machine, comfy beds). The best part was the extremely helpful and kind staff. Close to plenty of tavernas and shops. 10/10

Location is wonderful, walking to many sites, 15 min to sea side, Aristotle Sq. Clean and new premises. Service friendly, willing to find solutions to requests. For my breakfast of Non Gluten, No Lactose, the dining room hostess offered Rice milk, and told the kitchen. Each day the kitchen cook came out with my omelet and Gluten Free bread. The Roof offers a charming calming venue, hostess knowledgeable in Tourism, helpful for touring advise. Reception staff were always assisting in logistics. Interesting Smart hotel, value for price

Its location, albeit not with a great view and quite noisy, was very convenient and easy to connect to the rest of the city-centre, because of the public transport stops nearby. The room was spotless and the house-keeping was excellent. The only issue with the room was its not having hot water all the time and the WiFi being unstable, at times. The breakfast was quite good and offered plenty of options; the dining hall was beautiful. The staff was very kind and helpful and provided an understanding listening ear for any issues there might had been. The reason for the 4 stars, instead of 5, is that I would prefer that there were more languages spoken in the hotel, to make it more accessible. Dissapointing! They pretend to be an exclusive boutique hotel and that’s what you pay for. But the experience is not. I asked them to arrange an airport taxi and they said it was going to be approximately €30, when I arrived it turned out to be a normal taxi and when I arrived after 20 minutes the metre said €20,50, but I had to pay €30 because it was a “fixed” price. They told me it’s because it’s an airport taxi and they charge more. My room was nice, but there was a strange smell in the room. The staff said it was cleaning product, but it smelled more like smoke or sweat. After opening the windows one full day the smell was gone. There were some malefunctions on the blinds in the room and I didn’t get clear instructions of how to open the windows (an electric system) when I asked if I could open them, they said it was not possible because of safety reasons. Airco was noisy, street sounds noisy. They provide earplugs. Breakfast was nice and staff was attentive in general. Location is convenient. After checkout I had to pay €7 per night (€14) extra on city taxes. On their website it says clearly that ALL taxes are included. When I mentioned this they didn’t took any responsibility and said that this is the same in all hotels. It’s not true, I stayed in another (better) hotel after this 2 nights, for the same price and everything was included. I’ve send an email about this and I didn’t get any response. They don’t take any responsibly with complaints. This is not the service that I expect from a “luxury” boutique hotel for this price and I would definitely recommend to choose an other hotel!

The hotel is relatively new. Compared with the entire Thessaloniki, this hotel has novel and unique facilities, friendly staff and rich breakfast.

A couple of miles walk from the centre of Thessaloniki, but an easy walk. Can get a parking space outside, but traffic is mental and can take you ages getting in and out of the city. When walking to Thessaloniki centre you walk past what seems the immigrant centre of Greece which can be a bit intimidating but I was fine. Receptionist was amazing and upgraded my room for free. Breakfast wasreally bad, never had such bad food but what do u expect for the price I paid. I’d stay here again if I was visiting Thessaloniki but If your looking for luxury or anything 3* and up, this isn’t it 😂

The hotel is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and well-isolated. The only weak areas are the windows; sometimes it is noisy outside, which may be heard in the apartments. The cleanliness of the motel is satisfactory. The staff is courteous and helpful, and I believe the hotel is developing. Breakfast is varied, and while some of the cuisine is of high quality, not all is. I have been at this hotel in recent years (except in 2000, when it was closed during the summer), and it is now slightly better than in previous years. The price was quite decent for a five-star hotel, and I believe it is reasonable for the price.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Staff warm and friendly rooms bedding and towels super clean. No breakfast as too late in the season but coffee shops a minute walk away. Less than twenty steps to the beach with lots of tavernas and small shops. If I could make a suggestion it would be nice to have a kettle in the room with some cups to make a hot drink. We only stayed one night so we will return to spend more time at Avra Hotel and enjoy the super beachfront restaurants and bars. Thank you to the staff for your kindness.

I am starting the second week of my stay at the Royal Hotel in Peraia, having decided after a somewhat difficult year to spend a fortnight on.my own. I have been to Greece many times, but not to central Macedonia. I did my 'due diligence , and the Royal Hotel was the only one that fulfilled all of my criteria. Over the years, primarily on business, I have stayed in some of the finest hotels in the world. The excellence of service and the value For money here, would be incredibly difficult to surpass. Regrettably the staff will have (DV) to endure me for another fortnight, next June .......
