Nice hotel but start to need some renovations... the jacuzzi is not warm and the service is terrible : 40 minutes for room service to bring an empty glass, 45mins to bring a wine opener, 35 for an ice cream by the swimming pool (and we were less than 10 customers).
And avoid the bar, cocktails are a shame.
It s really sad for a hotel of that standing. The building and room are really nice and comfortable. Free shuttle for the center is really convenient.
We had a nice stay as long as we did not need the services. And breakfast is truly amazing.

This was our first stay at this hotel and it turned out to be a great choice. We had to change dates at the last minute so couldn't get the room we wanted but still ended up with a small balcony which we could see Aristotle Square and the Aegean Sea from. We stayed in a Superior Suite which was expensive but had plenty of room to move around in comfort. Next time well stay in the Executive Sea View room which has a much bigger balcony but less room inside. Breakfast was expansive with plenty on offer for a great range of people with differing tastes. The food was very nice and fresh. Included in our room price was access to the Executive Lounge. Irene and John in the Executive Lounge were excellent hosts although the lounge is only new and seems a little confused what it is there for. Lefteri on the front door was of great assistance and friendly and staff at the front counter were helpful as well. We will definitely stay again when we return to Greece in 2024.

Great location, and very friendly staff. Clean hotel, with large elegant rooms, with all the amenities you'll need. Check out the spa and get a deep tissue message from Nelli. Tasty breakfast. The area has e everything you need, shops and stores.

This a great hotel for a leisure visit to Thessaloniki. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The rooms were quiet. The neighbourhood interesting though a 15 minute walk away from the seaside where many tourists might prefer to stay. We loved being more in the city and away from the crush. The staff was very accommodating and the location good for a tour of the city. The hotel is geared for the leisure traveller rather the a business traveller - the pace is slow and the hotel is a little funky - which is easy to appreciate on vacation, less so as a business traveller. The staff will help tourist travellers find their way around the city with recommendations for how to visit sites and for restaurants. We took advantage of the pillow menu and enjoyed the breakfast.

What a brilliant hotel!! Originally built as the city's Post Office in the mid 19th century, it still retains it's charm with some original features and big high ceilings. It's situation right in the heart of the vibrant Ladadika area is perfect. One might have thought that noise at night would be disturbing, but we never heard a thing due to the excellent double glazing. The food was to a very high standard and the staff were friendly and helpul. The room wqs beautiful and tastefully equipped. I would definitely stay there again.

My family was very impressed by Polis Apartments, which is on the west side of the central district of Thessaloniki. We booked the 2-bedroom deluxe apartment for our family of four, which was just the right amount of space for us to relax. The room was very clean. It included a refrigerator, dishware and utensils, which was perfect for us to keep breakfast foods during our stay. There is a grocery store located less than a block away from the apartment. The staff was very good. I especially appreciated Konstantinos, who was very helpful in giving us an overview of the city. He gave some great restaurant recommendations. If you are traveling to Thessaloniki by car, I suggest using the parking garage recommended by Polis. It is staffed 24 hours per day at a daily cost of 10 euros; pay the hotel (not the garage). Note: parking on the street is extremely limited. We would stay at Polis Apartments again if/when our travels take us back to Thessaloniki.

Hotel is conveniently located. Most tourist places are in walking distance. The room was clean and good sized. Has a fully stocked mini bar. Espresso pod coffee machine with pods, however no kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. Parking available approx 100mt away in multi story parking facility, which has 24 hr rates. Reception staff very helpful. At our request, they organised a taxi to take us sightseeing for one hour at a fixed rate. We had been out sight seeing when I tripped over and split my lip. Attended local emergency hospital where I got stitches. After 5 hours at the hospital, returned to hotel after 10pm. Room service had finished. Explained our situation to the receptionist (Barbara) and she used her own phone to order meal delivery for us (yiros from Kamara Grill - highly recommend them). Scout around on the internet and you can pick up great deals for this hotel.

This hotel is so clean and friendly. The rooms are small but oh the beds!! So comfy i didnt want to get up. The bathrooms are also small and not a lot of room to move about but adequate for one :) the room was made up every day. We had a balcony that again small but adequate for 2 to sit out on. This is a city break hotel. There are no beaches near by, it would be 35 mins in a car to the nearest. We spend 6 nights here. We found a lovely place called the AVENUE by the umbrellas design. It had amble seating outside and was very popular by locals. It overlooked the sea, we recommend going here if you want to relax. The breakfast was continental with some hot food but not much, scrambled egg and mini sausages. There was no toast !! The breakfast choice for us was a little disappointing so we did not go on 3 days of our stay. For those who like to have a kettle, bring your own as there is no room facilities. Luckily mum had bought her travel one and tea bags !! There is a small fridge in the room too. We had a comfortable stay here and walked so much as there is a lot to see here. Restaurants are plentiful nearby, just across the road 20 steps away is a fab restaurant Kanoula that was perfect.

ΓΓThe hotel is located in the most central location in Egnatia at the height of Aristotle. Nevertheless, it has very good sound insulation and sleeping is like sleeping in the countryside. Everything was at your feet. The room was suite 104. It was very comfortable, clean and modern, with a full minibar and lots of toiletries. I was given a 10 minute welcome massage as a gift which was amazing. Dimitris, who gave me the massage, showed me around the spa area, which I enjoyed, and suggested a facial treatment, which I did the next day and it really was amazing. Breakfast adequate. The staff is kind. My stay in Thessaloniki was made more beautiful by my stay at this hotel.

GGuest UserUrban Donkey is a great option for your Thessaloniki stay. You are within walking distance to Aristotelous and all the major sites/museums, while staying in a surprisingly quiet area for Thessaloniki. The room was stylishly furnished in an industrial style with the mattress being extremely comfortable. The terrace is 10/10 and gives you a great perspective on Thessaloniki's urban core. The owners are very friendly and can provide you with awesome restaurant and bar tips. Strongly recommend staying here!

AAishaI stayed here in October, and the weather was beautiful. I took one bus from the airport straight to the hotel and it was fast and easy to local. It's located about 10 - 15mins walk to the white tower and sea side. You can see the port and the cruise boat docking from the sea view.
There are lots of places to eat.
Room size OK, shower cubicle is very small
No kettle in room for tea and it not free when you order in the hotel for a night cap.
Breakfast is good not of option but good. It would be nice to visit in summer with kids.

GGuest Userthe service was okay. the people working in the hotel very kind and helpful . But , the hotel needs restoration . looks quite old, and dark. some things are broken etc . i stayed in this hotel also 2013 ... now it lookes much older and not so well maintained .
Also the music in the breakfast room was too loud and not agreable stile for starting the day i would prefer something calmer . The breakfast was in general okay exept that i would prefer some more local , original Greek cheeses not these ordinary packed cheeses that are not Greek .
Althought this horel is in best area , very central and the working people are very kind it has a dark impression to me , i would prefer to lighten up a bit the colours in the corridors to lift up the spirit .
in the night there was also a lot of noise from some foreign customers and that was quite annoying .
