"The entire staff of the hotel was so warm and chirpy! Dorje the HK head made sure the rooms were in pristine condition. Tenzin the Manager was especially very warm and lovely to talk to. All the other staff, Pim Pim and Tenzin and others whose names I may have missed made our stay absolutely delightful in Thimphu. Food in the restaurant was the best I had in Thimphu so highly recommend at least one meal here. The staff here has some great recommendations for local alcohol so must try that too… Thank you team Tashi Yid Wong for making this stay so memorable for us"

"This is a beautiful hotel with huge rooms and very good food. we did not eat the buffet for dinner and the butter chicken and local ema Datshi made for a wonderful dinner with rice and bread. Beds were comfortable and it was a great first night in Bhutan. Staff was very pleasant. Lots of tour groups here and some were pretty noisy."

"I stayed for two nights and my room was cozy but clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. The location is very good in center of main Thimphu city and walkable to most shopping and restaurants and sights. The outdoor patio dining area is nice on a sunny morning or evenings. I tried the dosa and a local dish of beans and cheese dish which were both delicious. I would definitely recommend visiting!"

Rooms were spacious , clean and comfortable. Breakfast and buffet dinner didn’t have variety . Quality could had been better . Service and hospitality is top notch . The porch at entrance has over grown lawn with weeds in it. The hotel is still worth staying . I would recommend it ."

"This hotel was a quick stopover for us after arrival in Bhutan prior to our trip started. It was a great opportunity for us to acclimatize to the country. The hotel is in complete isolation, beautiful forest with a hiking trail nearby with the most amazing views. A bonus is a calisthenic park/outdoor gym just at the bottom of the hill. Beautiful design and aesthetic that is organic modern. Rooms are comfortable and meals are delicious. Staff are friendly, discrete and accommodating. It was peaceful and very tranquil. Oh and they make a mean ginger tea!!! Word has it the King of Bhutan stayed here when he quarantined/isolated after traveling outside of Bhutan during covid. So this property is fit for a king! Would recommend and we’re happy to stay at a local owned luxury hotel."
