This accommodation is a complete disappointment and does not meet the stated standards. This hotel can easily claim 2 stars maximum, but not 5 stars. The only thanks to the administrator for a fairly detailed tour in Dutch around the hotel grounds and accompanying us with our luggage to the room, but this is where the positive impression ends. For your information, five-star hotels always offer guests a compliment from the hotel and this is not water. Moreover, I chose this hotel to celebrate my birthday and it was completely ruined, and the hotel did not even offer a greeting card. The room is absolutely outdated and tired. Cosmetic repairs and redesign are urgently needed. There are no glasses for drinks, only small glasses of ~70 ml. The floor under the sofa is completely ruined, since the sofa is right next to the window and they repeatedly tried to move it. It is impossible to watch TV on the sofa, as it is not comfortable and can only fit one person. Only a sheet as a blanket, you will not find a warm blanket. A stupid huge bathroom: there is a lime scale on the walls and floor, the fittings are not fixed to the walls. Blistering plaster on the walls all over the bathroom. Water leaking out of the tap in all directions. A sink full of water and clogged pipes because the water wasn't draining. The list goes on and on! An unpleasant stinking smell in the shower, and in the toilet there is terrible toilet paper, like sandpaper. The jacuzzi hummed loudly, trying to create bubbles that were not there, but there was only a strange vibration. All the "metal" elements are rusty and filmed. Breakfast: a complete disappointment. You have to pay extra for eggs. All the food is terribly salty, except for yogurt. The coffee was cold every time. There is no variety in the cuisine. Some workers from the kitchen were constantly leaving and walking around between the guests, adding to the food. The waiters are not trained to communicate with visitors. The pool: entering it by the steps is a real challenge. All the steps are in some kind of stones, which are painful to step on. The stairs are not fixed, entering the water is not safe. There are few places by the pool. The sun loungers are not clean, the tables are not cleared, bottles and glasses are always left behind by previous visitors. The sun loungers by the sea are completely forgotten by everyone. It is impossible to talk about their cleanliness. There were 6 umbrellas and 11 sun loungers for the entire hotel. They are all terribly dirty. The passage to the sun loungers is dirty, the beach and the area around the hotel are not cleaned. Horrible! The worst place we have visited on the entire island. You simply have no right to declare yourself as a premium class hotel and some kind of star rating. Shame! Clean up!

We stayed in the private pool suite and it was amazing! One of the best hotels we've been to. Loved the private pool so much. They gave us a bottle of complimentary wine on our arrival day and the cleaners were so attentive everyday. There is a jacuzzi style bathtub and even the shower can become a steam room! The breakfast was great with fresh fruit selections, tasty yoghurt and even olive oil. We had dinner there the first night and the food was absolutely stunning. All of the staff were friendly and eager to strike up conversation and offer their advice on things to do. We will definitely be returning and cannot wait for our next stay.

This was our second visit to this beautiful place Very friendly staff who are very attentive and welcoming. Thank you Dora, Theo, Joanna, Jacob and obviously Anna and Christos the manager who are both so thoughtful and generous! Delicious food, great eating area and we loved the room with views of the pool and sea. Relaxed, walked along the beach , cocktails and taxi ride to Kassiopi. Would we go go back ? Most definitely! Just what we wanted. Thank you

I really enjoyed this hotel, the location was quiet and excellent, the staff were lovely and we had a great holiday. I was writing some of my second book there and it was a great spot to work from. My first book “Charge Yourself Up For Success - Energizing you life, work and relationships” was also written from a tranquil place like this and went on to be a bestseller all around the world. So I highly recommend this place if you are looking for creativity and inspiration. There is lovely energy there. There are a few areas where they could improve, which I feel is not the staff’s fault they are just under staffed and I would say they are trying to manage budgets and waste carefully:- 1. The rooms are nice it’s just our air conditioning unit was leaking water onto the floor but the cleaner was great and very diligent every day. 2. The tennis court had weeds growing through the surface and the bushes through the fence made it difficult to hit shots at one end. 3. The food quality is excellent but for a couple who were on the half board and are gluten and dairy free it made it difficult to vary the meals. I ate mushroom risotto and lamb pasta 3 times each. But I will say the actual food was lovely and very tasty. Breakfast was also nice, it just seemed like the fresh orange juice was being rationed and you were not allowed to help yourself. Other positives:- They had some lovely singers during the evenings which we really enjoyed. Christos the manager is a lovely guy and is great at keeping the guests feel welcome. He also drove one of the other guests into town when they didn’t have a car and needed to go to the pharmacy, showing he was always trying to go the extra mile and help wherever possible. The hotel is a small hotel with only 30 rooms so great if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday. Pool is nice and beach area is nice with easy access to the sea which was lovely. There are a few nice restaurants within a short walk and the town is a 5 min drive away with loads more. The massages are 5 star prices but very good apparently. We always look local and if you ring Antonio Heals in town he does them for a much less a price.

I read a lot of 5 star reviews on this hotel , unfortunately I was unaware that these reviews were when it was family owned before being sold to ‘a concern’. We booked a week and could only use the private pool for 2 FULL days. We woke up to the pool being half empty on two mornings. After notifying the hotel they sent a member of staff to fill it with a hose !! This took all day to fill. On another couple of occasions there wasn’t enough water in the pool for the overflow to operate properly. This place has a great location but is so rough around the edges. It’s not maintained properly. Door handles missing, steam room control hanging off the wall, grout missing to tiles on the floor, filthy and worn water jet spouts to jacuzzi, hit and miss room service, stains in the pool , I could go on. The tennis court is filthy and beset with weeds. Very disappointing and not worth the money!

The rooms are spacious, modern and very comfortable with a super king size bed and beautiful private garden and pool. However the finer things that should make it 5 star were notably absent. The was not cleaned daily despite our being specific on this 3 times. On one occasion the bed was made, dirty towels taken away but not replaced and the room was not cleaned. The toilet was broken and it took no less than 4 requests to rectify this and further, a small drama unfolded each time I went to reception to complain. The staff response was misjudged with 3 visits from hotel staff who came into our garden and room uninvited, and twice caught me in a very private state of undress. Even then, I was accused of not locking the gate despite the fact they had failed to give me a key. The gym was a very sorry collection of antiquated York equipment which could be bought from Argos in the 1980’s, no less than 4 from 4 defective benches and a mismatch of dumbbells and random ropes. No water was available and the single, adjacent unisex toilet had no lock, but was still pretty functional as the door was fogged glass allowing any potential voyeur a good indication of your actions within. The sunbeds next to the beach were sited in an overgrown lay-by across the road. Breakfast was excellent and on the whole apart from a few broken locks on toilet doors and a minor drama when I asked for some milk in the room, everything else was fine.

Perfection in every way! We have just returned from another wonderful holiday at the Restia Suites. We have enjoyed many holidays here. Our first visit was June 2010 and most years we have holidayed here some years twice for two weeks at a time. We love everything about it. This year was no exception; on arrival we were welcomed and until we left we were spoilt with the care and the attention of the staff who are a very happy group of people ably lead by Christos. We couldn't recommend the Restia Suites more and have already booked for next year.
