We recently stayed at the Northumberland Arms for 2 nights and we was delighted with everything ! Our room was called the 'New moor Tower' it was lovely very clean and spacious the shower room was spotless and clean also. The food at the Northumberland Arms is faultless, I'm so pleased we ate there both nights our choices of meals we're very nice, especially my steak and mushroom pie ! Tracey my partner requires a Gluten free diet and was not disappointed with the choice. Breakfast both mornings was excellent ! All the staff we met we're extremely helpful and friendly. Car parking not a problem. Thank you Northumberland Arms for our enjoyable stay and well done everyone who makes the place work to perfection.

This was an absolutely gorgeous little bed and breakfast place. The room was perfect, with armchairs, hidden wardrobes and a beautiful ensuit with a walk in shower. The breakfast was delightful, and the staff were polite and friendly. Overall 10/10. Highly recommend

Popped in for lunch on a rainy Tuesday. Welcomed by the staff. Ordered food and drinks. Chicken, leek and mushroom pie and steak frites with a peppercorn sauce. Food was fantastic and the steak frites was one of the nicest I have ever had! Staff were lovely - very accommodating to the customers. Looking forward to going back 😊

We popped into The Northumberland Arms on a Sunday afternoon for a drink. What a miserable lot of people! Staff looked very unhappy to be there; Manager fussing and hardly a smile. My brother actually commented on how quiet the customers were - no atmosphere at all. A place people like to be seen at and to say they're going to.... A bit like The Running Fox. Trendy. Pretentious. Miserable. Lovely decor, yes, but if you're frightened to laugh or sneeze then... No thanks.

Visited here for our tea whilst staying at Linden Hall. The pub is absolutely gorgeous and has such a nice atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Our meals were beautiful and they had really good gluten free options. We will definitely be returning!

My trip to the Northumberland arms was about as good as being diagnosed with a stage iv tumour. Your server Yakub was terrible, he spilt boiling hot sauce all over my groin on my pants, and when I asked for a towel he walked off and laughed at me. I was outraged. My fish and chips turned out to be a battered flip flop, and had no taste whatsoever. This trip was so bad I have been exiled from the county of Northumberland due to throwing up in a garden. Will not be returning, as long as that gargoyle or a server is roaming the premises. Have a nice day, Reginald.
