Visited after 3 years — practical stay near Guruvayoor temple I returned to this hotel after three years, and overall, things have remained fairly the same. It continues to offer a decent and functional stay, best suited for those visiting the Guruvayoor temple. If you’re looking for luxury or high-end amenities, this may not be the place — but it does cover the basics. The rooms are equipped with essentials like tea/coffee kits, bath towels, toiletries, a hair dryer, and ironing available on request. I had booked 3 superior rooms. One area that still needs attention is general maintenance, especially in the bathrooms. This seems to have slipped compared to our stay three years ago. The lack of a partition between the shower and toilet leads to the entire floor getting wet after a shower. Breakfast remains average, though tea and coffee are good. There is no food or tea/coffee available before 7:30 AM, which can be inconvenient for those planning early temple visits. A useful reminder: even if you book through popular online platforms, the hotel requires an upfront payment of ₹1000 via online transfer to confirm the booking. This isn’t always made clear during the reservation process, so it’s something to keep in mind. In summary, if your priority is a comfortable, no-frills stay close to the temple, this hotel still serves the purpose well. A bit more attention to upkeep and guest convenience could make it even better.
