Hotels Near Hannyain in Tokushima

It was our very first time in Shikoku area of Japan - the hotel is frankly a bit dated but we appreciated the hospitality and the great selection of breakfast (both western and Japanese style were available). I think we went during the off season so there seemed to be only few hotel guests staying - at least having breakfast when we were at the breakfast room. The ”Wa -fuu” Japanese style Tatami room (10 tatamis) on the 10th? floor was nice and roomy which we enjoyed. Though the bathroom is TINY - felt like you were in a tiny boat or airplane. Free wifi worked fine. Good amenities - including free bottled water. Tea. mini-fridge. They also provide you with free local cellphone in the room so you could bring it with you for local phone calls or do some simple wifi search/gps usage being a tourist. For people visiting from out of the country without a good global cell plan- this is a great amenity to have.

If you stay separately from an old inn, the room is large, affordable, with a large bath, fresh flowers, and well cleaned, which is very good. I also like the atmosphere of the landlady. Since it is an old inn, it smells a little cigarette, the corridors are dim, and the carpets are peeled off. However, considering this size and degree of freedom, I think it is more than the price. It's about an annex, so I wonder if there used to be a main building.

Breakfast is very delicious. The room is not large but clean and you can't hear the sound from the surroundings. The things I was worried about were that the bed mattress was harder than expected and the sound from the refrigerator was loud (the power supply was turned off by a switch, so there was no problem if it was turned off). Be careful if you are not good at hard bed mattresses.

About 1.7 km to awa Odori venue, Tokushima station. About 25 minutes walk. When you ask the lobby person about the means of transportation, the bus is in front of the next prefectural office, but one hour. It is said that everyone goes on foot because the taxi is also crowded. It came out at 17 o'clock in the middle of summer evening, but it is still hot. 1.7 km walk 25 minutes, sweat, duck! It is easy to be in a commercial facility called Amiko, but compared to the hotel near the liquid, it does not return to physical strength! So, after seeing the dance of the kusunoki beach, a little free dance hall, the ryokokubashi dance hall? Small dance hall? I walked around the awa dance pedestrian heaven area and walked through it! If you proposed a taxi near the station, I saw it better! The traffic regulation was from 18 o'clock, so it was not crowded even in the taxi at 17 o'clock. I feel the shallowness of the response of the lobby. I think it was a mess. No. I felt like a hotel that strongly sought efficiency, but I think it was shallow. I feel the danger of our hotel in the staff consciousness that it is normal to walk 25 minutes in midsummer. If you go to awa Odori, you don't know, but you may use smile hotel Tokushima and so on. Can I park at the hotel in front of the station this time? I was worried. This hotel was about ２００ planes and three-dimensional, and it was free. It is a thought and trouble.

This resort is geared for family, many families bring their younger children, a refreshing view. It is a nice resort but by no means luxurious. We chose Japanese restaurant for dinner instead of their suggested buffet restaurant (dinner is included in the price), and the kaiseki served was mediocre in taste and quality. We indulge for breakfast, there are two restaurants, one a buffet serving western food, and the other Japanese. We tried both, and all are pretty good! There are english speaking nepalese employees, and two onsens, one on the top floor with sea view, and the other an outdoor on the first floor (preferred!). Make sure you buy the meal package since there are no nearby restaurant and you are pretty much a captive audience. Oh, parking is free, which is nice. Close by to Otsuka museum and the bridge where we watch Naruto whirlpool.

I stayed at this hotel because it was close to the Otsuka Museum of Art. I took a local bus from Tokushima Airport to the hotel, and the bus stop was right in front of the hotel, so it was very convenient. I chose the buffet plan for dinner, so I had to go to the sister hotel, the Grand Hotel, but they gave me a ride there and back. The Naruto Straits could be seen from the room, so I enjoyed the view. I used the large public bath early in the morning, and by chance I was able to see the sunrise in a cloudless sky, which was impressive. I had breakfast early, and my plan was to go directly to the Otsuka Museum of Art, but the Naruto whirlpools were just at high tide, so I walked to the high-speed tide observation boat dock and got on the Uzushio. After that, I walked to the museum and spent the day there, but I think I was able to enjoy sightseeing in Naruto because I was able to stay at Taimaru Kurage. I would like to go to the museum again, so I will use it when I do.

It's not long since the cherry blossoms are still made, and the bath and the room are new and clean! Convenient close to cherry blossoms station The cherry blossom coin laundry is 200 yen for free washing machines. I'm glad the dryer is free. The bath was small, but when I went early, it was empty and I could use it 々. I was grateful for the guide to the lady room. The staff was kind and helpful only to respond to early morning luggage storage. It is used as an inn of pilgrimage. The super hotel in Rojas is the second time. There is also a room area from the last time and it is a hotel that I want to use again. The toilet is narrow as it was in the word of mouth. If you dare say, I said that there is another elevator.

I stayed at this hotel for a long time to meet my friend who has lived in Komatsu Island for 50 years. The service was full, the twin room was not so small, clean and very liked, such as ２ cans of service and can beer for a consecutive night at check-in. The guests who came together at breakfast were all business travelers, and the number of cars was national. I would like to repeat it next time I visit Anan.

A super hotel chain that I'm accustomed to staying at. This time I made a reservation from the official website. The inside of the hotel is so similar that you don't know which super hotel this is. When I was relaxing in my room after checking in, the front desk brought me a memory foam pillow that I always use. Thank you. Regarding the location, I felt that there weren't many restaurants in the neighborhood, but I was fine because I'm a convenience store bento person! I was healed by the hot springs separated by gender, and after enjoying the delicious fish cutlet curry for breakfast, I left the inn. I want to stay again. Best!
