We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Plaza SUNROUTE Shinjuku! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Shinjuku Station, which made exploring Tokyo incredibly convenient. Despite being close to the hustle and bustle, the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting after a long day.
The room, while compact (as expected in Tokyo), was thoughtfully designed and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided were everything we needed, including a humidifier, toiletries, and a handy phone charging dock. Staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile.
There are plenty of dining options nearby, from local eateries to convenience stores, and even a Starbucks just around the corner. We especially appreciated the easy access to shopping areas and the direct train line to major attractions.
Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Shinjuku. Great value for money and a smooth experience from check-in to check-out!

very nice place and very good location, very convenient to buy what you want. And what you can eat. But it was a very expensive price to living here pre night charge is around hk$2300 for 2 persons. Last night, we upgraded the corner room and charged us 4000 yan, so that was pretty high prices. The room is big enough for us, and the bed sizes were big too, very conformable.
But it was very, very, very hard to find this hotel, they don't have the front door, it's in the mall inside, the front desk was in the 5th floor, this is must be careful.

Amazing hotel and location. Rooms are modern and spacious for Japan. For first timers in Japan it was so helpful to stay here as it's connected to the train station and with plenty of restaurants on other levels as well. Definitely a great location. All you needed to do was get in the lift and you would be surrounded by restaurants/bars, at the train station, a 7 eleven or the scramble. Staff were always helpful and attentive. Quick walk to major attractions also which was great. Room serviced daily and the bed was comfy. Super clean and safe. I would highly recommend.

This is the place to be if you’re looking for a great location and are here with close friends or a loved one. Not suitable for families who are used to space, but hey, Miyashita Park next door can certainly stretch out your legs for a breather. I had no issues with the alternate cleaning schedule and the staff were warm and extremely accommodating, even with self check-in. They were on standby to direct us through the process which was very fuss-free and intuitive. I would return, no doubt. Those who prefer a more exclusive hotel entrance with your typical porters, bell boys and such won’t like it at Sequence as the hotel lobby is on the 4th floor and beside a cafe, but I personally had no qualms about it. For me, give the hotel a shot before writing it off totally. My friends and I had a great time - totally worth the price point.

Excellent hotel and special mention to Justyna
Location: Prime spot in the heart of Shinjuku and one minute walk to Shinjuku station exit 4, and less than five minutes to other exits.
Room: Extremely clean, modern, spacious, fantastic housekeeping.
Facilities: Washing machine, dryer, hot/cold water dispenser.
Service: Top notch hospitality from staff who are very friendly and courteous – special mention to Justyna who was extremely helpful with my queries days leading up to my check-in, as well as throughout my 7-night stay, and she always ensures that my requests are fulfilled promptly. Thank you Justyna and team!

Booked this for the convenience and that it was available last minute but would say it’s a bit pricey for what you get. Room is very small but we made it work with 2 big luggages. Washroom was spacious though 😂 The best part about the hotel was the onsen/ public bath which was super comfortable and relaxing (hot bath, cold plunge, sauna, showering stations) and you get free popisicles and yakult depending on what time you go. Free ramen on the first floor from 9:30-11pm too. Service was okay. Location was prime and walkable but a bit of a walk to any station. They do have scooter and e-bike rentals out front with the LUUP app. You can hear the train nearby but didn’t really bother us overnight.
Very satisfied with the room, highly recommended! Convenient transportation, right next to SASAZUKA station, only one subway stop away from Shinjuku. There are also many supermarkets and restaurants around. If you want to cook, you can buy groceries and cook at the hotel. There is a supermarket next to it that is open until 24 o'clock in the evening. There is also a 24-hour convenience store next to the hotel. Smoking is not allowed in the hotel, but there is a passage next to the hotel door that leads to the street behind the hotel, and there is a smoking area. Anyway, everything is very convenient, and the hotel is very soundproof. Although it is close to the subway, it basically does not affect sleep.

The hotel is ideally located close to Shinjuku Train Station, but far away enough not to be caught up in the hustle and bustle of the commuter traffic. Another station, Yoyogi station, is a better station to catch the local trains/subways as it is smaller and less crowded. The hotel is located close to shopping and eating that you don't need to walk very far to satisfy any craving. From 7-11 to high end dining, everything is close by. There are restaurants and even a Shake Shack (got our desserts from here several times) inside the building and department stores just across the bridge that crosses the railway tracks. The hotel actually starts on the 20th floor, so you are high enough that the noise from the railway doesn't bother you. Since you are so close to the train station, you don't have to lug your baggage too far from the train station (if that's how you came into town). Service from the staff was very good and was as expected from a higher end hotel. The room was on the large side for Japanese hotel rooms. We had a king size bed and space to walk around even with 2 suitcases and 2 carry-ons taking up floor space. The elevators were quick and silent with a view overlooking the promenade. Filtered water is provided next to the elevators, which came in very handy since we filled our refillable battles starting out each day of sightseeing. A refrigerator was provided as was a safe. Towels were changed on demand and sheets were changed every 3 days or on demand. The bathroom was small but not the smallest we experienced, the shower/tub was great with a handheld sprayer available. The toilet was the typical bidet/heated seat setup that all hotels seem to provide. Everything was clean and neat with the typical (for Japanese luxury hotels) compliment of items - toothbrushes, toothpaste, razor, shower cap, skin lotion, soap, shampoo, etc. Unfortunately, we were on the go most of the time and didn't experience any of the hotel restaurants, but they looked high end and we probably wouldn't have eaten at them since we didn't really pack any nice clothes that would have fit into the clientele. Overall, a comfy place to stay in a great location. I would definitely stay here again.

When I first came to this hotel, the location was really hard to find. If you come by subway, it's a bit far to find. It's the closest to the JR New South Exit, and it only takes a few minutes to get to the hotel. The hotel is cleaned every day, but only 2 bottles of water are given every day. There is a washing machine in the room to dry clothes. The front desk is on the 16th floor. It's just hard to find at first, but it's very convenient once you get familiar with it. The surrounding area is very lively. I will stay here next time.

The room is average but clean
I think the only downside is that there are a little less outlets
But I want to give a big push to the counter staff! ! !
We need to call a car at check-out time, but we can’t call a car when it happens to be rainy
The counter staff immediately ran outside to help us stop the car👍👍👍
It's really the kind that runs out
Really feel super warm ♥️
Thank you very much the counter staff 🙏🙏🙏

Hhock soonNice location near Shibuya station.
Linen doesn't seem clean and we spotted some hair during check in.
Amenities were sufficient but there isn't any coffee/tea or a safe box in the room. Also insufficient space for hanging any clothes.
Room is really tiny, there is barely any space to walk with 2 luggages.
Would recommend for the location and nice new deco.

BBT.OngThe accomodation was managed remotely and self serviced at all times. We checked in and out and used the facilities provided as per the instructions given. Everything provided was in good working condition and the room was very well equipped. I wouldn't mind considering Illi Mani Shibuya again for future trips to Tokyo as it is conveniently located and easily accessible.
