Great place friendly staff. Room was clean everything worked and looked like pictures online. The waffles in the morning were delicious. My son slept on the sofa bed and slept the whole nite through. Definitely visiting again. I would recommend this place

Was looking for a bed & shower for about 8 hours traveling & that’s all I got. I wouldn’t take my shoes off. Bathroom door & surrounding was rusty. Tub faucet leaked steadily. They installed a new shower rod and didn’t patch the old holes. My husband told me I dropped my contact so I tried to pick it up & it was dry. Yuk. Not mine. TV turned on but said no signal…no channels. Blow dryer wasn’t mounted to the wall so when using it the part that was supposed to be mounted flopped all over. Went to the gas station for coffee & breakfast. Won’t stay here again.

If you ignore the exterior and the rough area, you'll find a decent hotel. It's clean-ish and pleasant. The problem? They have smoking rooms next to non-smoking rooms and our room was thick with the smell of smoke. It hurt my nose, irritated my eyes and gave me a headache. It's gross. Also, the bed squeaked and the mattress was old. Breakfast was a bit of a joke. There is 1 waffle maker, bread for toast, and some cereal.

I like the location and the view. The room was nice but the staff was unfriendly. The breakfast was horrible. The eggs had no flavor and no meat. Where was the sausage and bacon. I would recommend you stay here. But I would also recommend you don’t eat the breakfast. Why are they the only hotel/motel in Topeka that doesn’t have the pool and Jacuzzi/Hot Tub open?The best thing about the trip was the woman in the lobby wearing a two-piece bikini. Her butt cheeks were hanging out. So I got to see some butt cheeks
