Nice modern hotel and excellent location for the marina and seafront. Some staff excellent some staff not. Have stayed there possibly 100 nights over the past year on business. One one occasion was told off by a member of staff for quietly reading emails on my phone whilst having dinner and she insisted on standing staring till I put my phone away. Odd behaviour. This week I was woken at 10pm by a member of staff banging on my room door as there was apparently an outstanding balance of £2.60 to be paid on my restaurant bill from 3 hours earlier. I was on the 2nd night of a 5 night stay so how about speaking to me about it at breakfast the following morning rather than wake me up and insist I get dressed and come down to the restaurant to pay. They promote a good night's sleep guaranteed ..... they failed this week

Nice comfortable room with air conditioning (required at the moment) bed was a decent size. Coffee pod machine, flat screen TV, rainfall shower with hose. Affordable and very close to the centre of town but not so close to hear the locals having fun.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Kirsty very helpful. Breakfast cooked to order and staff lovely. Note that the car park is a tricky one, first part is owned by Torbay Council Not Premier Inn, got a £50 fine, would be helpful if when checking in the reception asked where you have parked? No blue badge outside reception as one customer got £70 fine! Be aware! Would stay again and recommend premium rooms!

Lovely hotel in a great location for exploring Torquay. There was plenty of parking, but at £9.50 a night is far too expensive (factor this into the cost of your stay!). There was also quite a long walk from the car park, around the hotel, to the main entrance. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great, with friendly, attentive staff. Our evening meal was fine but let down by disinterested staff. We had a long wait for our puddings which had clearly been forgotten about. Overall a great stay and would book again.

Nice hotel in good position. Staff were helpful and restaurant and breakfast was good BEWARE if you are a wheelchair user. Access from carpark is impossible due to lift not working, (not a new issue) but the lift does not belong to Premier Inn so not entirely their fault.

The car park is situated a good walk from the hotel. The rate we thought was expensive at £9.50 per day, where the premier Inn seafront hotel parking was £8.0 per day. The lift was out of service from the car park. The room was reasonably clean, we booked a standard room and wasn't expecting a put-me-up sofa by the side of our bed which was unnecessary and where underneath it hadn't been vacuumed for some time. We would have preferred another comfortable chair. We struggled with the air con as it seemed to be controlled by someone else. It was either too cold or when off too hot. Without a window to open it wasn't so good. We chose the meal deal which we thought was good value and enjoyed our meals there, with breakfast being outstanding. Overall we enjoyed our stay though and the staff were friendly although seeming under staffed at times when dining. We would definitely stay in premier Inn again though I would recommend them arranging parking at same time as booking the room. It was a constant worry having travelled a long way to find we may not have a parking space. We were lucky being off season but I can imagine it being tricky peak season.
