The Ravenswood B&B
9.6 (30 reviews)

The Ravenswood B&B ★★★★

📍 535 Babbacombe Rd, Torquay

"We stayed in the king size suite (room 4) for 3 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. The hosts, Manju and Raj, were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were able to park for free at the back of the property, and due to the excellent location were able to walk everywhere during our stay (Torquay marina is just 5 minutes walk down the road). We also walked to nearby Babbacombe, which only took us 30 minutes as we walked the road way (along Babbacombe Rd) as opposed to the coastal path this time (due to poor weather during our trip). We did not have the breakfast during our stay so cannot comment on that aspect."

📍 Sea Front, Torbay Rd, Torquay

"A simply Devine hotel with such historical charm  The charismatic entrance foyer draws you into this wonderful exquisite reception area We had the upmost pleasure in staying on New Years Eve  & were greeted with a lovely glass of free champagne in letting the New year in  They also had a really good modern band playing the finest of music in one of their opulent rooms  We would grant this very fine hotel a definite 5 Stars experience  Many thanks"

Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa - Just for Adults
8.9 (106 reviews)

Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa - Just for Adults ★★★★

📍 Meadfoot Road, Torquay

"The spa is incredible, so relaxing. Ideal location with about 10 mins walk to Harbour and to Meadfoot beach. Breakfast was on the small side but tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are okay, clean, but for 4* I’d expect a bit more like an iron in the room, toiletries, wash cloths etc. Didn’t sleep that well unfortunately as was woken up by people coming back to room as doors are loud and corridor floors are creaky. This let it down, but I’d return for the spa experience!"

Hotel Hudson

Hotel Hudson ★★★★

📍 545 Babbacombe Rd, Torquay

"Great little hotel with "off the street" -save parking for motorbikes. Top floor room even had sea view. Very friendly host that took good care of us :)"

The Buccaneer Inn Hotels in Torquay

The Buccaneer Inn

"We used to visit this place quite often living locally as the food and atmosphere was really lovely, and then unfortunately it changed hands so stopped going as the menu had changed beyond belief from good quality pub grub to fairground hotdogs and more fast food. And then we noticed Sunday roasts were on the menu so thought we'd give it another go...what a mistake that was. We ordered the large mix meat roast, the meat if you call it meat was thin slices of luke warm tasteless process rubbish and the vegetables were frozen and over cooked. Goodness knows what you'd get if you ordered the smaller roast as our larger roasts came with only 3 potatoes, one frozen Yorkshire pudding and watery gravy. There were so many dogs on extendable leads making it quite dangerous for those carrying drinks and food...I for one nearly tripped over one of the leads just trying to pass. It appears no care has been put in place ensuring an enjoyable visit, and we certainly will not be returning."

Trelawney Hotel - Guest House Hotels in Torquay

Trelawney Hotel - Guest House

"Fantastic 7 day stay. We had a very comfortable room with nice decor. There was a good choice of items for breakfast. Its just a short walk to the sea front , with bus stops close by which could take you to Paignton and Brixham or to Newton Abbot. Hosts Liz and Paul were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We ( Dave & Annette) would just like to say thank you for a very enjoyable relaxing stay."

Everything was spotlessly clean, the facilities were excellent, and the room was comfortable and peaceful, ensuring a great night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and the perfect start to the day. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again and highly recommend Elmdene to anyone visiting the area."

"Fantastic accommodation in a pleasant location. Anthony and Pauline were the most congenial hosts who's sole aim seemed to be to ensure you have the best stay possible. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were amazing! So many options to choose from and all of an exemplary standard, thoroughly spoilt for choice. Thank you both for making a short break so memorable. I have no doubt you will see us again."

Tyndale B&B Torquay Hotels in Torquay

Tyndale B&B Torquay

"What a fantastic hotel. We were made to feel so welcome by David and Tonny. Glass of Prosecco on arrival, a hotel room that is so clean it looks as though it has just been fitted out, luxury toiletries, beautiful thick large soft towels, luxury pillows, coffee machine, not to forget the lovely homemade cake. Breakfast was amazing and being given a goodie bag on departure was the icing on the cake. David and Tonny are absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and their attention to detail is second to none. Thank you very much David and Tonny - we will definitely be returning."
