The Ravenswood B&B ★★★★
"We booked this room at short notice . Although the room was small there was everything we needed for our stay . Every where was spotlessly clean . Breakfast was amazing freshly cooked and nothing was too much trouble for the owners . We rate this B&B five stars and will return without any hesitation. Thank you from Brian and Sheryl"
Hotel Indigo Torquay by IHG ★★★★

The Grand Hotel ★★★★

Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa - Just for Adults ★★★★
"The spa is incredible, so relaxing. Ideal location with about 10 mins walk to Harbour and to Meadfoot beach. Breakfast was on the small side but tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are okay, clean, but for 4* I’d expect a bit more like an iron in the room, toiletries, wash cloths etc. Didn’t sleep that well unfortunately as was woken up by people coming back to room as doors are loud and corridor floors are creaky. This let it down, but I’d return for the spa experience!"
Hotel Hudson ★★★★
"Great little hotel with "off the street" -save parking for motorbikes. Top floor room even had sea view. Very friendly host that took good care of us :)"

"I couldn’t even get in the hotel"
The Buccaneer Inn
"We used to visit this place quite often living locally as the food and atmosphere was really lovely, and then unfortunately it changed hands so stopped going as the menu had changed beyond belief from good quality pub grub to fairground hotdogs and more fast food. And then we noticed Sunday roasts were on the menu so thought we'd give it another go...what a mistake that was. We ordered the large mix meat roast, the meat if you call it meat was thin slices of luke warm tasteless process rubbish and the vegetables were frozen and over cooked. Goodness knows what you'd get if you ordered the smaller roast as our larger roasts came with only 3 potatoes, one frozen Yorkshire pudding and watery gravy. There were so many dogs on extendable leads making it quite dangerous for those carrying drinks and food...I for one nearly tripped over one of the leads just trying to pass. It appears no care has been put in place ensuring an enjoyable visit, and we certainly will not be returning."
Trelawney Hotel - Guest House
"Me and my fiancée stayed for 3 nights Lovely clean hotel and great location Brilliant breakfasts Nothing was to much trouble would definitely stay again Derek and Lorraine Derbyshire"
Astor House
"Flat 2 Astor House was well appointed with everything you needed for a stay. The flat was clean and tidy and well cared for. The communal areas were clean and tidy with the exception perhaps of the carpets on the stairs and landing which were a little tired. The location of the flat with its views over the bay and the easy parking made for an enjoyable stay. I would happily recommend Astor House for a visit to the Torbay area."
Carlton Court
"I loved staying here and would stay here again the hosts are so lovely and wonderful they make it feel so homely and very helpful and kind I booked it with my bf and then saw it was 18+ and at the time I was almost 18 and they were so understanding and nice about it they also let me know I accidentally left my car boot open 🤣 I will be visiting again soon hopefully it’s also a really nice location as it’s quiet and not to far away from all the restaurants etc but also further enough to not hear noise The room I had was kept very well clean best hotel I’ve stayed at by far bed was very comfy had a mini fridge to with milk in to"
Elmdene
"Super stay as usual. We keep going back ,we are treated like family and that works both ways . Kim and Trevor always go that extra mile to make your stay extra special"
Court Prior Boutique B&B and Apartment
"What an amazing experience! From our initial welcome from Anthony and Pauline., to departing as friends. The B&B is beautiful, clean and classy. We were given a room on the ground floor ( when they saw my husband limping) without any hesitation . The room was spotless and spacious with everything needed. Breakfast was absolutely stunning! The choice of the cold buffet was great, the small and mighty yoghurt pots with fruit they have grown ( where they can) was my personal favourate, but the hot choice was where they excelled! The " full english", was tasty and excellent quality. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, and was probably the best i've ever eaten!! We really didn't want to leave! We are hoping to go back again very soon."
Tyndale B&B Torquay
"If I could rate this hotel higher than 5 star I would. We've stayed at a lot of hotels all over the world and this is hands down the best. It's like staying at a friend's house - only your friends have exquisite taste in furnishings, a sharp eye for detail and incredible cooking skills. David and Tonny are a delight and they really know how to deliver a warm and luxurious service. Every detail is impeccable and the breakfast was the best we've ever had in any hotel. Beautiful hotel, beautiful people. Thanks so much guys. We will be back!"
Crofton House Hotel
"We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were nice and comfortable, although a little compact. A few of the drawers in our room were not in the best condition, with the backs coming off, so they could do with some maintenance. That said, Hassan on reception absolutely made our stay. His excellent customer service, friendly manner, and warm welcome were outstanding — honestly worth coming back for alone. He was professional, approachable, and a real credit to the hotel. The hotel itself is in a good, quiet location which made for a relaxing stay, and the lounge area was lovely and very comfortable to sit in. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to look at the pool area during our visit, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily return.Hotel also has a small car park and we were lucky to get a space and you can park for free ."
The Hotel Balmoral - Just for Adults
"This was our second stay at the Balmoral and was as enjoyable as the first. The staff without exception, were welcoming, helpful, and polite. Our bedroom was spacious and very nicely furnished. The food was excellent served in a large attractive restaurant. The large garden and terrace were very inviting. The hotel is situated in a lovely area of Torquay."
Nethway Hotel
"Well what can I say this is the most friendly hotel we been in Room very very clean flat screen tv free WiFi Breakfast included 3 course evening meal different choice of meals each evening !! I cannot fault anything any of the food or facilities what so ever. The staff were just amazing anything you asked they would do the upmost to get what you asked off. And as for Julie and Gary the owners these pair are just amazing famtasic. If we weren’t happy with room they change as when we booked I asked for ground floor as father in law can’t climb stairs as when we arrived they had placed father in law on first floor I said to Julie he can’t climb them straight she gave him a replacement room straight away not an issue !! They provided entertainment on 3 of the nights we were there even got tickets for each and every guest to a show at Babbacombe theatre They are so so friendly caring and can’t do enough for you. Gary is so so funny with his Scottish accent they are just brilliant I would definitely stay there again that’s for sure So I thank you Julie Gary and all your staff Max Dave and John Thank you so so Much Max Dave and John xx"

Anchorage Hotel & Spa
"Welcoming and the evening meals are lovely. Breakfast is overdone, bacon very salty. Not thorough on cleaning. Went for breakfast and sat in the same seats from the night before to find food on the flood that had not been cleaned up. 3 bedroom hotel room had clean linen and towels but the floor was covered in dog hair and the table sticky. Where the tea and coffee was refilled it had not been cleaned and was thick with dust. Cups used and filthy. Bathroom had hairs in the bath, dirty marks by the toilet paper holder and on the bed runner there was stains and tbh I don't know what it was but it was disgusting. Spoke to the assistant manager and she wasn't concerned in the slightest, no apologies or anything. Got given glasses with lipstick stains on. It is outdated, worn and smells fousty. Do not recommend staying there. It was noisy when people were locking doors and walking upstairs. For the money I think its appalling. I would not recommend."
The Headland Hotel & Spa
"The room we were given was at the bottom of a flight of stairs resulting in a lot of noise disturbance throughout the day and night. The hotel itself feels a little dated and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The fire alarm at 7am was also an unwelcome wake up call. The breakfast was good, with a decent selection and the general location is good for accessing local walks and the costal path. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and you can end up with a lengthy walk to the hotel when it is busy."
TLH Toorak Hotel - TLH Leisure, Entertainment and Spa Resort
"Fairly dated infrastructure .Location is okay .Staff is good ."
