Ashleigh House

A beautiful guest house in a great location 5 minutes up the hill from the town of Torquay. We were welcomed by the lovely Steve and shown to our room. Very clean, tea/coffee making facilities, cute little ensuite with a great shower. Breakfast was amazing, all needs catered for- cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurt, toast, cereal... Steve gave some tips on nice local places and was happy for us to come and go as we pleased (we had our own set of door keys). We will definitely stay again if we are travelling to South Devon in the future!

A lovely house conveniently situated in Torquay. It is comfortable ,spotless and full full of character .The lovely hosts, Jan and Steve couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast choice and quality is amazing .The full English ,freshly prepared superb. The experience was more like a stay in a welcoming home rather than a Guest House / Hotel experience . Free Parking ,just ask for a permit on arrival.You won’t be disappointed.

A lovely guest house which has recently been taken over by a really nice, friendly couple. Everything was spotlessly clean and on the day we arrived all the beds were getting brand new mattresses which meant we had a comfortable nights sleep. Our room had everything we needed and the owners told us that they are starting to upgrade and update the whole place. Breakfast had a huge choice and the Full English was fantastic. We have already booked to go back :-)

We stayed here one night in October, the welcome was warm and friendly and we were given a parking permit which meant we could park outside with no problems. Within walking distance of the town and good eating places. The room was clean and spacious, perfect for our stay. Breakfast was tasty and cooked well. We guessed the owners were new, very eager but not a bad thing.....relax, you are doing a good job!!

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay when walking the SW coast path last week. Jan and Steve took over a decent business in July and are busy putting their own stamp on it. The B&B is very clean, the room a decent size and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a buffet of fresh fruit, cereals and yogurts followed by a beautifully cooked full English. The hosts were accommodating with our parking needs and were able to provide a packed lunch pn the second day. In all, it was a great choice for us, and one I would recommend.

Just excellent ! The welcome is lovely from the very friendly owners ! The building is beautiful, the room we had wasn’t ultra modern but it’s clean, warm, cosy and comfortable. The shower room was modern and really nicely done! With regards to the room I think maybe a more modern tv would benefit the room. The breakfast was lovely, not spectacular but good clean honest food and served with a smile. I’d stay again for sure and would recommend it to anyone.

Exceptionally clean, very comfortable beds and pillows, our room was the only room without on suite, however bathroom was just along the corridor for our room use only. Excellent breakfast provided. Jan and Steve were very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed here whilst doing a chunk of the coastal path with our cockapoo Treacle, its located in a nice quiet street but only minutes away from the harbour, accommodation was superb, we were made to feel very welcome and the breakfast was lovely, we couldn't ask for any more! Thoroughly recommend and we would come and stay again, thank you Jan and Steve for a lovely stay ❤️

A beautiful b&b in a beautiful location, on arrival there was parking right outside and parking permits were given to us to cover the whole weekend stay! Our room was lovely, extremely spacious, fantastic views, crisp fresh bedding and plenty of clean towels, the owners Jan & Steve were amazing very attentive and the breakfast was unreal so much to choose from and made to your liking! I will definitely be returning and il be bringing my family too! Thank you Jan & Steve for making my 1st stay in Torquay a brilliant one and il look forward to returning x
