HUGE WINDOW BLIND FELL ON TOP OF ME AND CUT ME BADLY. DANGEROUS & FILTHY FALLING APART HOTEL, THEY AVOIDED EVEN CALLING BACK AND OFFERED PARTIAL AMOUNT OF MY 2 NIGHT STAY AFTER SCARRING MY HAND FOR LIFE. BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE! THIS HOTEL IS DIRTY, SMELLS, CARPETS & BATHROOMS COMPLETELY DISGUSTING. 2 members of staff we met were friendly and polite, the night receptionist was rude to my partner and not welcoming. Many better places to stay locally

Lovely welcome from the receptionist, excellent food at lunch and breakfast. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Bit of a struggle up to our room but only because lift was being upgraded. Overall an excellent 2 night stay. All staff that we met were warm and friendly. Thank you x

When we arrived at the hotel there were no Blue Badge disabled parking spaces available. Reception told us we would have to park in the council car park further up the hill! Hotel parking is owned by Horizon & they are charging £7 for 24 hours. Reception also told us we should monitor the parking spaces to check that everyone who parked there did in fact have a BB disc ... surely that is not the responsibility of the guests to do that! Further, there is 3 hours free parking in this car park, so it is likely that people using the attached Beefeater restaurant are taking up most of the car park spaces for free! We were told there was no facility to reserve a disabled parking space although we had a BB and were staying at the hotel. We will not use this Premier Inn again and think it only fair to warn other guests who have a BB parking disc.

The hotel is in the perfect position for accessing town, marina and theatre. As with all P. Inns I have used, this one was clean and comfortable. However, the hot buffet restaurant and the reception area were filthy. The stains on the floor in the hot buffet were still there from a visit I made last year so how long they had been there can only be imagined.

Room was far too hot with no option of air conditioning. The windows don't open very far and the plastic screen in front stops any possible airflow. The room was dirty as there were used tissues under the bed and gummy bears under the desk. We understand the lift being unusable may have been unavoidable, not sure if more than a weeks notice could have been possible as it was too late to change plans at that stage. I struggled with the stairs as I have a knee injury but I saw many others worse off and struggling. The building in general has a very musty and damp smell. Ordered food to take to the room but was told there were no trays available, very difficult trip back to the top floor with plates and drinks balanced. Half of the food from Beefeater was burnt and overpriced considering the size. The other half left me with a very upset stomach and it's various consequences. The nights sleep was bad as the curtains didn't stretch across the full window meaning outside lights shining in and then sun at dawn. The room was also too hot to sleep comfortably. The door security chain was missing from the door so not the best for peace of mind.

A clean and welcoming Hotel providing a good size room with a large comfortable bed. Staff were welcoming and professional in dealing with my reservation. Food was of a good standard. As lift was out of order members of staff were willing to help transport luggage up two flights of stairs.

To start, parking is atrocious, small tight spaces and heaven forbid you go out in the evening because you’ll have to pay for the night then when you come back there’s nowhere to park….but you’ve paid? Tough. Meaning you have to pay another £10 in the council car park. Then the hotel has out dated decor and when you get to your room, it’s so small that the door hits the bed. Mattress is rock hard and rooms are sweltering. “Air con” doesn’t go below 19 and the windows are too stiff to open. The beefeater is a great place and makes up for the rooms. Great food and lots of it with great deals if you have a room

Love this hotel and have been many many times. Situated right on the Seafront with amazing views. Bar is lovely, we didn't use the restaurant this time but usually great food, try the halumi fries and chicken goujons they are really good and service from the staff is really friendly and helpful. Fantastic location, the rooms are lovely, but the property does need some TLC as looking a little tired and not looking at its best at the moment. Pretty it up a bit, and people will return again and again to this gorgeous hotel.
