Excellent two day break at the Cimon hotel. Made very welcome on arrive with a tour of the hotel facilities. Beautiful heated swimming pool with sun loungers. Ample off road parking. We had a sea view room that was spotless clean with high quality bed and shower. Will definitely be back.

From the moment we booked the service was exceptional, booking was easy and we were kept informed and updated before our trip. On arrival we found free, ample parking and were greeted by Julia and Jamie who were so friendly and informative, they are very knowledgeable about the local area offering ideas for places to eat and visit during your stay. Our room was lovely with simple, modern decor, it had everything we needed and was very clean as was every area of the guest house. Breakfast was delicious, Jamies’ eggs shouldn’t be missed, a pleasant relaxed atmosphere while sitting in the conservatory over looking the pool was a treat each morning. We loved the eco friendly ethos throughout the hotel, minimal wastage, up cycling and recycling as well as ethical products and locally sourced produce was a bonus for us eco minded guest. Can’t recommend The Cimon enough and are already planning our return.

We have just got back (25th) from this lovely bed & breakfast, Julie and Jamie the owners were absolutely brilliant and the breakfast was the best by far compared to the many we have tasted. They were both very welcoming and very helpful no matter what, they have a great knowledge of torquay and also their property,the amazing history was so interesting. We will be back at some point this year and many more in the future. We travelled around torquay and found many place. There is still a lot to explore in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a great time staying here as a family. The hotel is really clean and modern, and just a short walk to the promenade which made it easy to head out for walks and explore the area. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, which made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. It was a relaxing and comfortable base for our trip—would definitely stay again!

Loved every minute Julie and Jamie were great hosts. Not only did they ensure we were happy they offered good views of local attractions. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fab, pool was cherry on top, bar area nice and with a simple bell we were attended to within seconds. Torquay is amazing and will improve year on year.

Warmest of welcome from hosts Julia & Jamie on our arrival. We stayed Fri-Mon and were sad to leave. Lovely comfy rooms, fantastic cooked breakfast (cereal etc also available) bar for drinks and snacks onsite, for a quiet evening, or when lounging by the pool. The pool is a great feature, we used it everyday, plenty of sun loungers to go around. Big car park on site too and not too far to walk down the hill to the beach, cafes and harbour. We didn't find it took many minutes to walk back up. Both Julia & Jamie are on hand to offer information on places to visit or dine at, nothing was too much trouble. In the evenings (or rainy day if unlucky) there is a downstairs lounge, with TVs, board games, books and puzzles to entertain you. Everytime you walk by, the puzzle left out for everyone was sooooo enticing! Big shout out to Lucy, who helps at breakfast. Lovely and polite. The Cimon, a real gem of a find in Torquay, wouldn't hesitate to book here again if coming to South Devon. Thank you for our great stay 🌞😊

Everything about this hotel along with the owners Julia and Jamie are amazing. The hotel has been freshly decorated and is nice and clean inside. We had a superior room with comfy beds fridge and chairs for lounging. The outside pool is wonderful clean and a nice temperature. The patio area is great especially with the various cocktails they have on offer. Breakfast with cold choice and cooked breakfast is delicious. Ideal location for walks. We did a taxi to Babacombe and then took the coastal path back to Torquay with beautiful views on route with cypress trees. Walk to Cockington picturesque village with thatched cottage’s also wonderful. Prezzo’s in Torquay a lovely building with tasty food. Salt water fish and chips at the harbour amazing. We will definitely be back.

The Cimon, Torquay is truly an exceptional hotel. Our room was perfect, the bed was oh so comfortable and the pillows were really soft. Clearly a lot of thought (and flair) has gone into the decor and furnishings. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and set us up for the day. The outdoor swimming pool is lovely and a real sun trap. Julia and Jamie, the Proprietors, were the perfect hosts and we're definitely going back next year !
