We had a great time at this Ryokan. It’s a few minute walk from town but reception will gladly organise free shuttles for you, especially in the evening between 4-10. Less than 5 mins in the shuttle to anywhere you’d like to go in town. Food was abundant. We eat a lot, but portion sizes were a bit too much for us. Two whole crabs each on the first night, then what felt like half a cow the next day :) dinner and breakfast were fresh, plentiful and varied. Room was spacious and quiet. Lovely view of the garden. Only futons available with bean pillows but they were comfortable enough. Each gender has 4 baths to choose from - indoor, indoor jacuzzi, outside warm bath, outside plunge pool. These are clean and welcoming. Plenty of lockers but we found it quite quiet to visit even though it was fully booked. You get a private room for your dinner and breakfast and it will be the same one for your whole stay. Really happy with our time here.

The building is a bit old but clean. Of course, credit cards are also available. The hot spring has ２ inner hot water (both men and women １ one), ２ open-air bath (both men and women １ one), and it is a change system, so you can enter ４ types in all. The １ of the open-air baths need to walk up to different floors, so the person who is inconvenient may be a little bit hard about it. (The scenery is very good) The outer bath ticket can be used even after checking out (15:30) and is very convenient. It's a little off the hot spring town, but it's not as painful to walk (it takes about 10 minutes to walk, so it may be hard for people who can't get used to shoes or geta). There are few restaurants near the hotel, and if you don't eat at the hotel, you need to go out to the hot spring town. Liquor such as beer is sold at the hotel, but it is expensive to buy it in the hotel. There is also a transfer car operated by the hotel, and the transfer from JR Shirosaki station is convenient. If you want to use it, please check the time zone well. (The hot spring town was also available in the evening) Please note that the underground facilities are closed due to the new corona virus infection (2020 ８ month). The room also has a refrigerator, washbasin, toilet and bath, but the bath is quite small (I think I won't use it much because I use hot spring towns and hotel public baths). This time I used a plan with lunch box. I think it was very cost-effective with lunch boxes in the morning and evening at １ million yen.

In winter, it is equipped with an orange hot spring, and there is also very considerate ice tea for drinking in the hot spring. However, the quality of the food is good, but there are not many varieties. It is not really a kaiseki meal. It is just a small bug.

Close to the sea, there is a hot spring, the staff is also feeling good, and most of all, I am grateful that Wanko can stay. The appearance and front desk were a nice hotel full of resort feelings. There were amenities. The back used when going to the bath is good size and easy to use, and the vending machine in the hotel is also a conscientious price. The view from the room of Wanko OK and the stairs to go to the room from the front desk are a pity, but I didn't feel particularly inconvenient.

When I went in at night, it was early and there weren't many people, so I went in slowly. The open-air bath only allows outside air to enter, but you cannot see the outside scenery at all. I took a different bath in the morning, but the open-air bath was under repair. It may be a little strange for people who place a lot of importance on the bath. You can also visit the outside baths, so it might be a good idea to enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content. I don't know. The view from the room was on the opposite side of the river, so I could only see the back of the building, but the four-person room was divided into a Western-style room on the first floor and a Japanese-style room on the second floor, so it was a relaxing stay. Dinner and breakfast were buffets, and there was quite a lot of variety. Since the restaurant was fully booked, more dishes were added one after another, so there was never a time when I couldn't get what I wanted. For dessert, there was also soft serve ice cream, which the kids were happy with. After deciding to stay at Kinosaki Onsen, I was torn between choosing a small ryokan, but in the end I think it was a good value for money.

The Tajima beef ceramic plate grill has a thick sauce of burdock, but probably because I was old, this was lighter and easier to eat than the steak. The sashimi shrimp was also big, fresh, sweet and delicious, but I think it would be better if you could peel the shells. Children seemed to like steamed matsutake mushrooms in clay bottles. The children's menu is full of volume anyway. It may be unavoidable that it tends to be biased toward fried foods everywhere, but you may not need such fried foods. .. The hot spring is salty and warms up to the core of the body. However, the open-air bath of the women's bath can be seen from Marine World. Be careful when taking an open-air bath before Marine World closes. That is definitely visible. The staff were all kind to traveling with two mothers and children, and the rooms were large, making it a very memorable trip.
