"Our recent stay at Sera Lake Central Hotel was unfortunately a significant disappointment. While the location might have some appeal, the lack of accessibility features for guests with disabilities was a major obstacle. My mom and sister, who rely on wheelchairs, faced significant challenges navigating the hotel due to the absence of ramps. This was particularly frustrating as I had emailed the hotel four times over two months prior to our arrival, specifically requesting handicapped-accessible rooms. Disappointingly, upon check-in, we discovered they only had one accessible room, creating logistical difficulties for our group of seven. After lengthy discussions (lasting two hours in the lobby before check-in), we were finally assigned three rooms on different floors. Thankfully, after further negotiation, we were given two rooms on the first floor and one on the third floor. Further disappointment arose regarding medication storage. On the first day, I entrusted the reception staff with three irreplaceable, specific-sized ice packs for my medication carry-on bag. I was assured they would be kept frozen until checkout. However, on checkout day, the staff's response was not only unhelpful but dismissive. They initially denied ever receiving the ice packs and displayed a rude and loud demeanor. Despite explaining the critical importance of keeping the medication cold, it took over an hour of arguing and requesting to search the freezer myself before the ice packs were located. Unfortunately, they were not even frozen upon retrieval, having been placed in the icemaker machine. The staff's lack of empathy and unprofessional conduct significantly detracted from our overall experience. Adding to the frustration, the breakfast buffet frequently ran out of food during our stay. This resulted in waiting a significant amount of time for them to restock the items. Furthermore, the room service menu offered a very limited selection, with only four food options. This might be inconvenient for guests who prefer to dine in their rooms or have dietary restrictions."

"Excellent, friendly service with large, clean and comfortable room and bed. Really convenient and walkable for airport but a minibus ride from the centre of Trabzon. The shower was also spacious, the water hot and two shower heads available. The lounge was comfortable though I didn't need to use it. My only gripe was that I found the underfloor heating a little warm for my taste and would have preferred controllable air conditioning. I only had the buffet breakfast once and it was good, well presented and varied but a little cool once plated. I would recommend this hotel to others."

Maybe some renovations needed for rooms. Bed and most of the items were clean overall. You can also take a tour offer from reception. I joines Sümela Monastery and Hamsiköy tour and tried sutlage. Price of tour was good but maybe duration for destinations might be increased. There are restaurants nearby and I can recommend patesserie and Terminal Restaurant to try pidas with minced beef and cheese. Free breakfast was delicious as well."

I left this hotel with much but very happy 3 days, thank all the Alya Boutique family. The rooms are very clean, regular and pleasant, and the staff are very laughing. "cheap hotel, but with short services, we stayed for a week with all inclusive, only white label drinks were included, the dining room was very repetitive and rather scarce, the cleaning was done every two days and they did not change the sheets, without air conditioning, only ceiling fan, the bathtub in poor condition and with a bathtub, no elevator, and the exterior cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, but I keep saying the same thing, for what we paid, fine, but a three star, on the order of two"

"Great staff. Be careful, the hotel isn't near the bus station (a new bus station was built two years ago a few kilometers away and the previous one is no longer operating). It is a okay hotel but the details are not taken care of. Acoustic isolation is very poor and in the night I was woken up by the noise of... the elevator. What can I say... The door is too small for the frame. You can see the corridor under it and there also goes the noise through."
