Lochgreen House Hotel & Spa

Had a wonderful massage in this top class Spa. Relaxing and chilled followed by beautiful lunch in The Copper Beech bar. Stayed in a Premium deluxe room which is massive with a huge bathroom with stand alone bath which off course I made full use of. Wonderful dinner in The Bisque and lovely friendly staff. As always we really enjoyed our stay due to great staff, food and comfort

First time eating in Bisque restaurant and definitely will not be my last. Food, drinks, atmosphere and staff all first class A very relaxed atmosphere with superb service Best Roast Beef I have had in any restaurant We finished off with coffee in the lounge Definitely worth the drive down from Glasgow and superb value

From the moment we drove up through the manicured gardens it was clear this was going to be a wonderful break. Celebrating my friends 50th birthday it had to be particularly great but it exceeded my expectations. Warmly greeted by the reception staff and assisted with our luggage by the extremely helpful concierge, Ivor who also came back with an ice bucket, champagne flute glasses and strawberries! The room was extremely spacious with a beautiful Victorian bathroom. We ventured downstairs and indulged in a wee whiskey from the Malt Room which was opened specially by the most helpful and friendly Andrew. We enjoyed sipping our drinks in front of the fire in the lobby before retiring for the evening. It was a good night's sleep and breakfast was made to order which was really good. We had dinner on our 2nd night and this was exceptional. On the morning checking out Ivor came to our room and took our luggage right out to the car and helped put everything in the boot. We have had many UK breaks and this has topped every one of them by miles!

The whole experience was first class. The hotel was immaculate and very festive, it was elegant and beautiful. Our room was spacious and inviting and very comfortable. The staff are all wonderful, friendly and made us feel special. Our meals were served in the lovely bisque restaurant and were totally delicious. The copperbeech offers a less formal experience and is ideal for a relaxing drink or lighter bite. Can't ask for anything more except maybe for a longer stay. Thank you to all the staff, best place to stay in Ayrshire.

Girls’ Christmas lunch. Can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. Everything was perfect! Beautiful Christmas decorations throughout. Excellent service. Staff delightful. Food delicious. Such nice surroundings and atmosphere. Would love to go back!

Our 2nd stay here in this beautiful hotel. Found staff, in general, to be lovely & very helpful. One male member of staff in the bar area had a bit of a brusque manner, when we had to ask 3 times for a drink that hadn't come when the wine was served. Staff in Bisque restaurant were so lovely but please note the dinner menu as advertised on the site is not what is currently on offer & it wasn't as good as our previous stay in April. Husband & sister took the lamb dish & both said it didn't have much flavour & was a bit tough. Only one steak on offer at £50!!! Breakfast was really good with plenty of options available. Hotel was very quiet but agree with some other comments re weddings. On our last visit, there was a wedding on & it was very noisy & busy & our room was just down the corridor from the room wedding was on, so noise from the band was a bit annoying but it did stop at 12pm. Very busy the next morning g at breakfast & checkout.
