Attended the wedding of Cara and Sean Hainey’s at this amazing hotel. From start to finish it was a great experience. This was made possible by the amazing staff. Must mention Lauren, Carrie at Reception. Kari and Alex the super wedding coordinators. Melissa, Jack, Declan and Josh the wait persons. All are so special and they were so friendly and attentive during our visit. They are great ambassadors for the company. Big shout for the kitchen brigade for high standard of food.

We had two fabulous nights at Lochgreen House a fortnight ago. This is the second time we've stayed there although we are regular visitors for brunch/lunch. This time we had room number 38. Unfortunately the weather put paid to any idea of sitting out on its balcony to enjoy the views but the room was perfect, the bed super comfy, lovely spacious bathroom with a walk in shower which is the best I have ever used! A roll top bath is always a nice addition too and OH made good use of it. Breakfast and dinner was superb - staff always helpful and going that extra mile to make sure everything is as good as it can be. Thank you to everyone, we plan on returning for our anniversary overnighter in January as we did this year.

It's the second year running we have attended for a wedding. It's unlikely we will go for a wedding again but we absolutely will visit just to enjoy the location, the fantastic customer experience, great staff and to just soak in that view and location. We've been limited on what we were able to do on these two trips but intend to revisit and take in all of the amenities of the hotel and take a little day trip to Arran. If you are looking for a nice romantic break, look no further than lochgreen.

Our stay at Lochgreen was very relaxing On arrival, we received a warm welcome and an easy check-in Staff were extremely helpful and very attentive We had some sandwiches and a coffee when we arrived, and I have to say the quality of the sandwich was beautiful Dinner did not disappoint either staff again were very helpful and attentive, the taste and quality of the food was very good as was the presentation Breakfast, again, could not fault it, and again, staff were excellent There was only one slight disappointment, and that was the bed, not the most comfortable one. I have slept in Overall we were delighted with the staff, and the beautiful grounds that the Hotel is set in I would be happy to recommend the Lochgreen to my family and friends

Came here on the recommendation of friends who live locally, for dinner. Its a nice place, but we did not rate our meal very highly. Poor staff including one lady I would fire if it were my place. Rude and totally obnoxious. She should not be employed in hospitality, let alone let loose to take dinner orders. The food was also very average. Overcooked scallops, underwhelming Bisque as starters, followed by very poor RibEye special. Huge slab of low quality very fatty meat with a sea of sloppy strange tasting peppercorn sauce. Not for us, and we would not return here.

Just had the most fantastic afternoon tea for my mother in laws 81st birthday. The staff ,as well as the food ,made this a very special occasion. Even though there was a wedding going on and the whole place was busy, we still felt well looked after and special. Thank you for making this such a memorable occasion.

booked for dinner for a significant birthday. the service from beginning to end was beyond terrible. Part of the party arrived early and went to the "cocktail" bar table service , nonexistent rest of the party arrived went to the bar and asked that their drink be added to the order, the barman was rude and unpleasant, 50 minutes after initial arrival still no drinks so decided to move to the restaurant. drinks arrived sno menus for another 15 minutes, when eventually the menus arrived another 15 mins to order ! no wine list , the mouche bouche arrived nearly 30 mins later , and then starters another 15 mins, the mains arrived, without the correct cutlery and the side sides for one order 10 mins after everyone had started to eat. In pouring the wine, after a list was eventually produced, it was dripped all over the the table. The table was not big enough for the party booked and not cleared of dead glasses or plates before others arrived. A cake had been brought and as it was so late by this point we decided to have coffee and cake in the lounge , coffee and i baileys took another 20 mins to arrive. the cake arrived g after all coffee etc had been finished without either plates or a knife, after looking at the cake for another 15 mins asked for it to be reboxed up paid and left. while the wine was "complementary" the evening was marred by extremely poor service, and rude bar staff who appeared to have little to do other than chat to each other, certainly at the start of the evening. the waiting staff while beter clearly had no clue on the menu or what each dish was , didn't know the difference between the two scallop dishes they were serving. is not some where will recommend ever again, after many years of family celebrations and dinners

We stayed here for our golf visit and what a superb place to stay. Ivor, is a credit to this hotel! He was so welcoming the second we parked the car (we arrived early for the golf), he took our luggage and set us off to the course with a coffee (which was very welcome at 7am!). We arrived back for dinner which was fantastic, all of the staff are lovely and extremely attentative. The room was spacious and spotless. Ivor was there to greet us for breakfast and he couldn’t have been more welcoming, such a lovely man. We really enjoyed our stay here and were already looking to book for a stay in the next couple of months!

The best, most friendly, efficient staff I have ever encountered in a large hotel. I am disabled and the room (16) was excellent and the flow throughout was accessible on my mobility scooter. The food and drinks were excellent, one complaint the portions were extremely large! While there we attended a Golden Wedding for 40-50 people, the organisation and timings were perfect.
