Quiet. Excellent value. Helpful staff. Very good food. Comfortable lodge. Pleasant grounds. Plenty of parking. Very near golf courses and Troon harbour for sailings. Fine old building with an interesting history.

Fantastic 3 night stay. The property has bags of character and sits in a great location on the edge of town, with an approx 15 min walk in. Staff are really sociable and helpful, particularly Martin and Megan, who went beyond.The food in the restaurant was beautiful and the service was great too. Can't fault anything.

Superb stay The room was spotless and very comfortable. The bed and linen was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of choice and very well cooked. We would definitely use again if we were up in this area.

Overnight stay We enjoyed our stay at the Piersland and would stay again. However, first impressions were not great. The reception area is tired and in need of modernisation. A friendly welcome would also have been nice. We were told our room number and that it was outside, but no directions were given, so we were left wandering about trying to find it. The Lodge room was lovely, nice and bright and well equipped. One thing to mention is that the shower is over bath and may not suit people with mobility issues. Morning breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, served by friendly staff.

Charming and peaceful stay in mid-March We were in one of the Mews rooms. Very impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the room. Good breakfast choices. About a 6 minute drive to Troon Ferry Terminal. Had dinner in the Red Bowl restaurant and also the bar/lounge area and service in both areas was good. The decor in the latter is very Edwardian and harkens back to when it was a private residence. Would definitely come back for a repeat visit.
