Best Hotels near Sandusky Avenue Christian Church, Tulsa

Had a great experience checking in with Jennifer. She was having to multitask but didn’t miss a beat. After checking in and getting settled Mr John Perez handling the bistro and bar better then a pro. He was very friendly and personable. I ordered the wings but they didn’t have the sauce I was hoping they had. Well John got with Jennifer and they created and awesome sauce to die for. Needless to say they created an experience that will make me return. Such customer accommodation and service is few and far between but this place exceeded all expectations. Do your self a favor and stay here. If you do say hi to Jennifer and John for me.

In traveling this route and staying in Marriott properties over 14 years this was the worst experience I’ve had. It was a handicap assessable room as requested however the only handicap part was a sign on the door. The toilet was so low to the ground you almost had to crawl off of it. The shower and tub was so narrow. It was hard to step into and the water did not drain so I had to stand in my own dirty shower water, the first thing I noticed on arrival was the light wasn’t working in the bathroom so I called the front desk to the room and all he kept talking about was how all the rooms had brand new microwaves. Who cares I didn’t come there for the microwave! And the bathroom floor was so slippery almost slimy , it was ridiculous His explanation was, I must’ve had something on my shoes. Yeah I’ve been in the car for 10 hours. I’m sure I had something on my shoes. I’m including a picture of a cracked frame on the window. It’s a lucky thing I only needed to sleep and get up and leave. I will give the credit to them for the breakfast. It was decent. It was hot, but I had it as soon as she put it out at the very beginning I can’t speak for later, but they had a nice selection, it is beyond me how this hotel advertises as the most up-to-date in the area I sincerely hope that’s not the truth because if you think sticking a brand new microwave in the room updates it you can think again I am so very disappointed. I will be calling management on Monday there’s no point in doing it on the weekend. I already know that, the lack of concern by the front desk was very troublesome and the ridiculous things he said to try and make it sound OK was worse! There are several other Marriott choices in this area. I chose this one for the price, but I sure did not receive the value for what I paid for sad sad experience. I never ever had to leave a review like this on a hotel.

Nina at the front desk helped me and she was awesome! I needed some help with printing several documents that I had misplaced and needed for a meeting. When I went to the front desk to ask for help, Nina was there with a smile and asked how she could assist. She quickly stopped what she had been working on and insisted on helping me right away. Nina printed the documents that I needed and delivered quickly. This was the only time that I have been in a pinch like this and needed help immediately and I was so happy that Nina was there to help me. She is great!

What a find! For a budget hotel, this really was fabulous. The lobby and our room were tastefully decorated and very clean. Everything was in good working order and nothing looked shabby or in need of repair. Our bed was very comfortable, although you might want to take your own pillow if possible. Our room had a few little extra features that were very helpful. In addition to the mini-fridge and microwave, there was a wet bar with an extra-long counter and a few kitchen-type cabinets. (I presume that they're extra storage for an extended stay.) In addition to the ample-sized desk, there was another table of the same height and depth. This means two people could have a desk, or the extra table could be used to stow luggage or other large items on top or underneath, or the two pieces could be placed end-to-end to make an extra long project table if needed. Kudos to the designer of this room and its furnishings. Cautions: there were plenty of electric outlets, although it was not necessarily easy to reach them, so if you have lots of electronics, take an extension cord or two. Also take your own toiletries. We had an excellent experience staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Tulsa's Downtown Arts District. The location is prime, and it's within walking distance to many of downtown Tulsa's attractions and restaurants. First of all, the attached parking garage was easy to navigate and it provided a safe space for our vehicle. The entire property is secured by key card, so security was never a question. The elevators were quick and responsive, and navigating the property was easy and straightforward. The room was perfectly clean and well put together, and the front desk service was friendly and informative. We enjoyed the pool, which felt like it was saline (no smelly chlorine, awesome!). The breakfast was tasty with vegan and vegetarian options as well. Thanks especially to Kristin and Sarah for the exceptional service and great experience. We highly recommend staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites -Tulsa Downtown Arts District anytime you're traveling through Tulsa. We will certainly plan to stop by next time we're in town.
