"I had a pleasant stay at Anjushree Hotel, Ujjain. It is currently one of the city’s most acclaimed hotels, offering a comfortable experience with spacious rooms, excellent amenities and a very friendly staff. The hotel features two restaurants and a café, ***** with several attractive offers for guests. It is also known for hosting many celebrities and well-known personalities, which enhances its reputation. There are a few areas where the hotel could improve. Occasionally, the service felt slow and a few staff members appeared tired or uncertain. The food was satisfactory but could be improved. The overall interior design could be made more luxurious to match the hotel’s reputation. Its location is on the main road which is a plus point. Value for money is slightly on the higher side and they could either improve the quality or decrease the price slightly. There is no noise from parties or from outside the hotel but the cleanliness could improve with rust in some places. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Anjushree Hotel to anyone visiting Ujjain. With improvements in service, food and luxury, it could become an outstanding five-star experience."

"I had a disappointing experience at this hotel despite spending nearly ₹70,000 over a 4-day stay. What stood out most was the behavior of the staff and their approach to customer service. Towards the end of our stay, the staff attempted to charge us ₹3000 for a minor issue—a kalawa stain on a bedsheet and duvet the minor tiny stain could be easily removed with ammonia which the hotel didnt have enough where with all.While I understand that damages may sometimes incur costs, the way this situation was handled felt unnecessary and unprofessional. They were argumentative and insisted on additional charges, even applying GST on something as unreasonable as discarding a bedsheet. Discarded items doesnt levy GST. The overall attitude of the staff was quite impolite, which made the experience even more frustrating. After spending a significant amount and staying multiple days, I expected a more courteous and customer-friendly approach rather than being confronted over such petty matters. I would advise future guests to be cautious and clarify such policies in advance. Unfortunately, this experience overshadowed what could have otherwise been a pleasant stay. "Hotel Atharva on bye pass road is an excellent proposition now --- away from the dust and traffic jams yet near the main Shree Mahakaleshwar Mandir, Ujjain. The location is therefore very good and convenient for people visiting the temple for the late night aarthi. The atmosphere is serene. The rooms are spacious with all basic ameneties provided and is kept clean. The noise level is very low. The housekeeping, room service staff as well as the front desk staff are very courteous and helpful. The hotel houses a good veg restaurant within its premises and the spread at the restaurant is very good. Option for breakfast to be included is also available. The spread at the breakfast table is good. Inshort a value for money both by way of convenience to visit the local temples as well as comfort for stay."
