It is currently one of the city’s most acclaimed hotels, offering a comfortable experience with spacious rooms, excellent amenities and a very friendly staff. The hotel features two restaurants and a café, ***** with several attractive offers for guests. It is also known for hosting many celebrities and well-known personalities, which enhances its reputation. There are a few areas where the hotel could improve. Occasionally, the service felt slow and a few staff members appeared tired or uncertain. The food was satisfactory but could be improved. The overall interior design could be made more luxurious to match the hotel’s reputation. Its location is on the main road which is a plus point. Value for money is slightly on the higher side and they could either improve the quality or decrease the price slightly. There is no noise from parties or from outside the hotel but the cleanliness could improve with rust in some places. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Anjushree Hotel to anyone visiting Ujjain. With improvements in service, food and luxury, it could become an outstanding five-star experience."

"We chose this hotel due to reviews on this site which we trust. Sadly it was a mistake and ruined our trip. The hotel is not even close to 4 star. It’s a 2 star at best and very expensive for its facilities. There are Atleast 50 scooters parked inside the hotel - seems you are in a govt building. Dark with no lights, the hotel is shady and not fit for families. Breakfast is horrible - plates glasses dirty and food seemed like thrown there for guest to eat. Bathroom and the entire hotel - elevators are dirty. The glasses and mugs in the suite were dirty too - we took a suite because the room was terrible. Please check the reviews - they are misleading travellers. This hotel is a 2 star at best."

"Great Stay Near Mahakal Temple, But Book Direct! I stayed at this hotel from March 25 to 28. They accommodated my early check-in request and provided an AC waiting lounge for late check-out—much appreciated! Location: Excellent—less than 10 minutes by auto from the railway station, and walking distance to Sri Mahakal Temple and Mahakal Corridor. Bada Ganesh Mandir, Maa Har Siddhi Mandir, and Ram Ghat are also nearby. Room & Amenities: Normal-sized room with very good cleanliness. Electric kettle provided on request (though no tea/coffee). Support staff were cooperative and humble; reception was supportive but seemed tense. Food & Dining: Didn’t try the hotel food, but excellent vegetarian restaurants are right next door. Drawbacks: Surprisingly, no photo of Mahakal displayed anywhere in this hotel situated in holy city—staff offered no good explanation, which left an emotional gap. Also, Goibibo charged very high rates; the same room is 30-40% cheaper if booked directly. Online sites overcharge—government should regulate this! Overall, a nice stay at an inflated price due to the booking site. Book direct next time! Jai Shri Mahakal!"
