We had a pleasant stay at Hampton by Hilton York. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the city. The breakfast offered a good variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location and very friendly reception, can make your own waffles at breakfast
The shortcut stairs from train station wasn't that easy to find though and can be closed sometimes

You were disappointed with the parking arrangement! It uses NCP. You can't drive out for charging once you get in and stamp your ticket with the Hotel discount (you may ignore it). Small room size.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Very close to train station and short walk into town. Very friendly staff and great breakfast. We had a top floor king room with nice view of the town. Will definitely stay again.
