Valladolid Hotels with Swimming Pools

The room is located opposite the church, next to the small park in the city centre. The city is not big and it is very convenient to go everywhere. I took a taxi to cenote suytun about 8 km 60mxn, waiting for the round trip to receive me 150. It is also a 5-minute walk from the bus terminal. The hotel's restaurant is very good, you can choose a set of breakfast for your breakfast. I also eat here for dinner, the ink steak is doing well, but the cold is not good, the five mature super hard and hard to chew. The room is small and the bathroom is extraordinarily small. Facilities and equipment are a bit old. A new building in the yard is being repaired. But there are not many choices in valladolid.

It is a good hotel in this small city....

I can only say positive things about this wonderful boutique hotel. It’s very unassuming from the outside, but as soon as you enter the lobby, you can tell that they have dedicated a lot of time and effort into making something special. The decor, the tiles, the color choices, the openness and airiness of the spaces were all warm and welcoming. The staff was very friendly. My room was large with 10 foot ceilings, the Wi-Fi was fast and the bed very comfortable. My shower was large and included an open space with live plants and a ceiling open to the outside (screened) so that when we had a rainstorm – and boy, did we have a thunderstorm! – the rain came down directly into the shower area. There is a lovely small pool, as well as little sitting areas and other decorative touches lining the hallways and stairwells, including one area with a hammock that I lay in during the thunderstorm. I only stayed for one night, but I sure wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Our stay at Tecnohotel has been great thus far. They keep our room clean, it's safe, parking is the best (which is why we picked this hotel). It's not fancy but has all you need for a few days and very budget friendly. Note there is no fridge but that is fine cause their is a Restaurant on premises that opens at 7am where you can grab an coffee and breakfast before you explore for the day. We're here for 4 nights and our plans has been to explore the cenotes/ruins in the nearby area. Not so much experience the city thought it is cute and I love the food/vibe here. The restaurant Tecnohotel is great and much better than I expected for a hotel restaurant. Food is tasty and fresh, we've been going multiple times! My partner and I have been ordering club sandwiches that we share in the morning and it's more than enough food to go out and explore. They also give you complimentary toast with your food order. Our server, Marcelino, was attentive, efficient and overall just a great server. Has all the qualities you want. He spoke English too which was also super helpful. The restaurant also opens at 7am which is more than enough time to eat before all the exploration activities open, and you definitely want to eat before you go explore. Hotel San Roque We left Hotel San Roque after one night, although we were booked for 5 nights. Our experience at Hotel San Roque was absolutely AWEFUL! Upon arrival, we were initially impressed with the property grounds. The concierge was very nice and helpful. However, those are the only positives I can express about San Roque. The room we were given first did not have running water. The air conditioning was poor and the ceiling fan was extremely noisy. Obviously the more pressing issue was a lack of running water for showers, toilet flushing and hand washing. 30 mins after informing staff of the water issues, they told us we could “use the shower in another room”. We requested to change rooms altogether and we’re met with apprehension. They reluctantly allowed us to switch rooms but stated it would be an additional charge. The room was a couple square feet larger, no additional amenities. Unless, of course, you consider running water an amenity. That night, we listened to the pounding music from a nearby club until 3:00am. It was so loud it rattled the windows. The next morning, we informed them we would be checking out due to the lack of running water in the first room and the extreme noise all night. They denied our request for a refund. About 10 minutes later, the concierge knocked on our door to offer an “upgrade to the suite.” By that time we had already had a horrible experience and were told we would not be compensated for the inconvenience but would, in fact, have to pay more to have a room with running water and efficient appliances. It was too little, too late. Now, let’s talk about the room. The bed did not come with a blanket, only a sheet. There was a laminated paper with strange rules, including no eating in your room. The toilet did not flush well due to lack of water pressure. We’ve stayed in many places throughout Mexico - Jalisco, Nayarit, Quintana Roo, Yucatán, Guerrero - and this is the worst experience we’ve had in México. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. And always use a credit card for additional recourse, as Hotel San Roque will attempt to keep your money.

Very nice hotel, perfectly localized! The welcome is very nice and the room is spacious and clean ! Easy to find the hotel. The swimming Pool is so nice and there is a lot of choice with the breakfast. The check in and check out are easy to do. We will come back if we want to stay again in Valladolid!
